Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 might be out in a couple of days, but PS5 deals are already rolling in to celebrate the launch. Those without a console to play the new COD are particularly lucky today - we're seeing a release day bundle on the shelves for a massive discount.

You can pick up a PS5 and a copy of the game for just £399 at Very right now. That's not just an £80 discount on the console itself, but the £69.99 cost of the game has also been struck from the final price. That means you're dropping the £479.99 RRP and getting an additional wad of value, for a full £149.99 worth of savings.

Considering previous PS5 deals have only ever included cheaper games with this already discounted £399 position (we've only ever seen bundle offers like this at Currys before, when the retailer threw in a free copy of Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga for £399 over the summer) that's a particularly stunning offer. You'll be waiting just a little while to get your hands on it, though, these bundles will ship on November 10.

The new PS5 Slim is just waiting in the wings, though, and is rumored to also be bundles in with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on release. If you prefer the redesigned console, we'd recommend keeping a close eye on this month's Black Friday PS5 deals for more offers.

Save £80 - really saving £149.99 altogether

PS5 | Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 | £479 £399 at Very
Save £80 - Very has knocked the PS5 back down to its previous record low of £399, but not only that - you're getting a free copy of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 in there as well. That's incredible value considering this is a £69.99 game by itself. Very has the previous price listed at £479 - but that's just the cost of the console, you're really saving £149.99 altogether here. This offer will ship on November 10.

Buy it if:

✅ You don't like the new Slim design
✅ You'll be playing the next Call of Duty regardless
✅ You've got physical disks to play

Don't buy it if:

❌ You'd prefer the Digital or Slim version

Should you buy the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 PS5 bundle?

This is one of the best PS5 deals we've seen in a long time, but we are coming up to the season of savings. If you're a fan of Call of Duty, and will be playing to next game regardless, this is a fantastic offer - especially if you don't like the look of the Slim model. You're not waiting around for the new release, you're paying slightly less for the console itself (the new revision doesn't come with the stand as standard), and you're getting a PS5 bundle with the most value we've ever seen packed in.

However, if you're not a Call of Duty fan there could well be more PS5 deals waiting for us at the end of the month. We're expecting retailers to offer the chunky console at this £399 sales price over the course of official Black Friday gaming deals, the difference is, though, there will be a much wider range of games to choose from. Likely contenders include Hogwarts Legacy, Resident Evil 4 Remake, God of War: Ragnarok, and Forspoken so if you prefer a more solo adventure we'd recommend holding off.
