A new batch of on-set images from Resident Evil: Retribution has landed online, with Milla Jovovich pouring herself into a skintight black catsuit to play series heroine Alice.
The latest instalment in the Resident Evil franchise will see series favourites Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong and Barry Burton return to action, but beyond that, details are sparse as to what we can expect plot-wise.
That said, director Paul WS Anderson has confirmed that the Las Plagas parasite will feature somewhere along the line. “We’re bringing in the Las Plagas parasite,” he told Collider recently, “ which I love because it allows the undead to basically run around, ride motorbikes, and shoot machine guns, which no one’s done before.”
Fans of the videogames will recall the Las Plagas parasite from Resident Evil 4 , in which hordes of rural Spaniards were infected by the mind-contolling nasty.
Resident Evil: Retribution arrives in UK cinemas on 14 September 2012. Until then, take a look at Milla in character in the images below.
