Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call coming to Japan in spring

A musical heritage like Final Fantasy's can't be contained in just one finger-tapping rhythm game; Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call is coming to 3DS in Japan in spring 2014. The sequel and several of its features was revealed in Japanese magazine Jump (via Gematsu).

Curtain Call will feature more than 200 songs, including selections from Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and more than 60 characters. It will also introduce a revamped multiplayer experience with Versus Battle Mode.

The game has not been confirmed for release outside of Japan. The original Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy made its way abroad in July 2012 after hitting Japanese shelves in February, then appeared on iOS in December.

You could always import it, isn't the 3DS region-free? I don't see the language barrier being an impediment to enjoying it.

I loved the first one, so I'm glad to see it garnered a sequel. Now all I need is another Dissidia and my Final Fantasy crossover dreams will come true!

I'm alright, the first Teatrhythm was fun but I feel like I got the most of what I wanted from that game. So I don't really mind if it comes over here or not.
