DBD Blood Moon event dates and details 2026
The DBD Blood Moon event is upon us again, and here's what you need to know about this year's iteration
April 21, 2026: The Blood Moon event is now over, but I'll be back to update you as soon as the 2027 event is announced!
The Dead By Daylight Blood Moon event is an annual in-game event that changes not only how the horror game looks, but how you play it. With Blood Cans scattered around the map, you're tasked with filling special generators with blood to power them, instead of the usual generator mechanics. If you prefer the old ways, though, don't fret, a few classic generators can be found across each map, too.
By completing certain challenges, including fixing Blood Generators, you can also unlock a series of personal and community challenges, unlocking some great rewards as you do so. So, if you're looking forward to this year's event, here's everything you need to know about DBD Blood Moon 2026.
DBD Blood Moon dates
The Dead by Daylight Blood Moon event ran between Thursday, March 26 and Thursday, April 16, 2026.
DBD Blood Moon rewards
The rewards available for this event include some awesome new character skins, as seen in the trailer above. Skins for Orela Rose and The Spirit are available to unlock as quest rewards, while others can be purchased from the event store.
Article continues belowWhile Orela and The Spirit's outfits are unlocked by completing a total of 12 Blood Moon event quests, you'll also earn Blood Trinkets by completing individual quests, which can then be spent on badges, banners, weapons, and tops in the event store.
Fleshing out the collection from previous years, tattered red tops have been added this year for Meg, Jeff, and Gabriel, while Blood Moon weapons have been added for The Nurse, The Dredge, and The Plague.

After studying Music and Lifestyle journalism and writing a column for a stylish lifestyle magazine in her hometown of Brighton, Danielle finally found her feet writing about videogames for WePC in 2021. She then honed her guides writing skills at PCGamesN between 2022 and 2026, when she took those skills to GamesRadar as a Guides Writer. Danielle's guides are a safe space - she definitely got stuck before you did, which is why she's perfect for the job. When she's not replaying the Silent Hill games or a more up-to-date single-player horror game, you'll find her fighting for her life in Dead by Daylight, tending to a garden in Stardew Valley, or doing both in Minecraft.
