Just when it started to look like Warner Bros’ Justice League movie – with George Miller at the helm – would end up on the scrap pile of Films That Failed To Fly, things appear to be looking up for the superhero epic.
Ain’t It Cool is reporting that not only has Miller dragged the project back from limbo following the writers’ strike, but that he’s also pulled in an old collaborator to play the Martian Manhunter. The man he’s hunted is Hugh Keays-Byrne, who played Toecutter for Miller in Mad Max.
That said, there’s still no word on the film officially gearing back up, though when Miller talked to the Sydney Morning Herald about the trouble with Australian tax credits for the pic, he mentioned that he was looking to get it up and running again as soon as possible. Oh, and possible shooting in Canada.
