Jason Momoa reveals he is signed to four-picture deal as Aquaman

Jason Momoa has been speaking about his role as Aquaman at the Comic-Con Experience in São Paulo, and has revealed that he has agreed to a four-movie contract with Warner.

Collider reports on a series of tweets from attendees at the conference highlighting a number of takeaways from Momoa’s appearance, with his long-term contract being prime among them.

Revealing that he had to keep his appointment quiet for a long time before casting was officially announced, Momoa also expressed a desire to see Zack Snyder direct the Aquaman movie, although nothing has been confirmed on that front as yet.

And as to the character himself? According to Momoa, “Aquaman will be a bad-ass, otherwise they wouldn't cast me for the role.” Well, quite.

Momoa stopped short of confirming whether his character will appear in Batman v Superman, but what we do know is that Aquaman will plunge into US screens on 27 July 2018, with a UK date to be confirmed.
