Mr. White will return for SPECTRE

Amid all the excitement surrounding the official confirmation of SPECTRE’s new title and cast additions, one name was missing from the official roll call, in the shape of Jesper Christensen’s Mr. White.

If you’ll cast your minds back to Quantum Of Solace, you’ll recall that the shadowy Mr. White was a key player in the villainous Quantum organisation, who escaped interrogation during that film and remains at large within the Bond universe.

And while neither White nor Quantum were mentioned in Skyfall, it seems that the former will be making a comeback, with Christensen confirming his return during an interview with Euroman.

“I am looking forward to working with Sam Mendes and Daniel Craig,” says Christensen. “It is a truly exciting script and a very capable team. So it’ll be fun.”

Just how White will be weaved back into proceedings remains to be seen, particularly given that SPECTRE itself looks certain to have ousted Quantum in the shadowy organisation stakes. Perhaps he has been poached by Christoph Waltz’s character…

Directed by Mendes and co-starring Monica Belluci, Lea Seydoux, Ralph Fiennes and Ben Whishaw, SPECTRE will open in the UK and the US on 6 November 2015.
