If like us, you were annoyed that Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez’ Grindhouse never got the chance for a proper showing this side of the pond, worry not.
Thanks to the Prince Charles cinema and a certain very nice man named Edgar Wright, Grindhouse will be screened in its full, spliced-together, original cut version on 8 March, with Edgar in attendance for a Q&A. It’s doubly special for him as his horror spoof trailer Don’t hasn’t been screened outside the US as part of the package before. Our man in LA can confirm it’s top stuff – hilarious and loaded with British comedy talent. For ticket info, head to the Prince Charles site .
But even before that, the Glasgow FrightFest will be hosting its own screening on 23 February. Get the full details here . Finally, distributors Momentum will also be making the print available for any cinemas wishing to book it for limited runs and late-night screenings. IGN has all the details.
