This new behind the scenes look at Fantastic Beasts is magical

It's not like you really need a good excuse to be excited about November's Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, but this behind the scenes look released for the weekend's Celebration of Harry Potter just managed to give this Potter nerd goosebumps. Eddie Redmayne is taking on the role of Newt Scamander, the author of the titular text that Harry uses at Hogwarts, but there's no boy wizard in sight here. This is Scamander's story and set in 1920s New York where he's joined by two fellow wizards, sisters Tina and Queenie and No-maj (that's the American word for muggle), Jacob.

Reassuringly for fans, director David Yates who helmed the last four Potter movies is in charge and the script will be the first from JK Rowling herself. Well if that isn't just like being sorted into Gryffindor and having a giant swig of Butterbeer to celebrate. Check out the teaser below.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them stars Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol and Colin Farrell and is out on November 18th 2016.
