Sony Computer Entertainment America is to release Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational for PS3 as a downloadable PSN game on July 23, priced at $19.99. In Europe, where the game is called Everybody's Golf, it will launch on July 24 priced at €14.99 / £11.99. The title was initially released as a Vita launch game before arriving on PS3 in Japan last year.

The PS3 version supports PlayStation Move and four player local multiplayer. World Invitational also offers cross-platform online play, so PS3 and Vita players can compete against each other, while DLC is cross-buy, meaning if you’ve already purchased extra content on Vita, you’ll be able to unlock it free of charge on PS3.

We said last year in our Everybody's Golf Vita review: "A Hot Shots game for Vita was pretty much a certainty, so we’re glad it turned out so well. Unlike many other launch titles, World Invitational takes advantage of the Vita’s capabilities and offers lots of fun in both solo and multi. With such a solid foundation, the inevitable sequel clearly has its work cut out for it.”

Also, people are asking of the PS Blog but not getting answers. Do you guys know if the PS3 version will cross-save with the Vita? Or cross-trophy?

I loved this game so much, but I don't know if I can subject myself to portions of its difficulty again or not.
