Conchords Star Joins The Hobbit
Flight of the Conchords star Bret McKenzie is returning to Middle-earth. The Kiwi comedy actor, who made brief appearances as an elf in the first and third Lord Of The Rings films (and whose father, Peter McKenzie, played Elendil) has joined the cast of The Hobbit , reports Variety . He will be playing Lindir, an Elf of Rivendell.

Will Smith & Son Team Up With M Night Shyamalan
Jaden Smith and his dad Will Smith are booked to star in an as-yet-untitled sci-fi action film set on an abandoned Earth 1,000 years in the future. It’s going to be directed by M Night Shyamalan, with Shyamalan and Smith producing and a screenplay by M Night Shyamalan and Gary ( Book Of Eli ) Whitta. “The chance to make a scary, science-fiction film starring Jaden and Will is my dream project,” says the director.
