Keith Richards back for Pirates 4

Pirates Of The Caribbean

Rolling Stones rocker Keith Richards is walking the plank again with a return role in Pirates Of The Caribbean fourquel On Stranger Tides.

The legendary guitarist - who donned black eyeliner, dreadlocks and full-on pirate garb for the series’ third film At World’s End in 2007 - has reportedly reprised his role as Captain Jack Sparrow’s father in the fourth rum-sozzled outing.

Reuters got the scoop, writing this weekend:

“Depp credits Richards for inspiring his character Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates Of The Caribbean films, and the two are currently shooting the series' fourth installment, where Richards reprises his role as Sparrow's father.”

Shooting on the fourth high seas adventure has been ongoing since June, and finds Johnny Depp’s Jack Sparrow encountering Blackbeard (Ian McShane) and his daughter (Penelope Cruz) in a quest to find the fountain of youth.
