Four new images from Spike Lees Oldboy

Spike Lee’s Oldboy has released a batch of new images online, featuring leading man Josh Brolin in both captivity and the wide open spaces of freedom.

Brolin plays an advertising executive who is kidnapped and imprisoned for 20 years, with no explanation given for why he has been held captive.

Suddenly released back into the world (once again, without explanation) he sets out in pursuit of both answers and revenge.

The new images include a very striking shot of Brolin emerging from a casket, alongside a couple of new shots of him in captivity.

There’s also an image of Elizabeth Olsen, who will be playing the young therapist with whom the damaged Brolin gradually finds himself bonding with.

Directed by Lee and co-starring Sharlto Copley, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Imperioli, Oldboy will open in the UK on 6 December 2013, after opening in the US on 27 November 2013.
