Sales season is almost here, so 2025's Black Friday Lego deals aren't all that far away. If October's Big Deal Days at Amazon are anything to go by, the event should be one to watch... and considering how good the brick-based bargains normally are, that's saying something.

What to expect from Black Friday Lego deals 2025

Lego goes weapons free so far as deals are concerned in November, and that means you can save on everything from cheap kits to the most expensive sets. While the former often get discounted, it's the latter you should watch out for. Seeing as they so rarely go on offer, this is the best time to buy something like Lego Rivendell; premium builds tend to hold their price for most of the year, so it's your best chance of getting them for less.

I'd keep a close eye on the pricier kits that launched in the first half of 2025 or the final months of last year as well - we're talking the Twilight kit and their ilk. These haven't enjoyed major reductions yet, so I suspect Black Friday will be their chance. Seeing as they normally weigh in at several hundred dollars or pounds, that's one hell of an opportunity.

Want a broader overview? No problem. Here's what you need to know:

🎬 Sets based on popular franchises enjoy the most frequent discounts
Generally speaking, the most popular Black Friday Lego deals belong to IPs like Star Wars, Harry Potter, and Marvel. These make up the lion's share of savings in my experience, which is understandable; they're hot stuff. As an example, 'Lego Star Wars' and 'Lego Millennium Falcon' are some of the most searched Black Friday terms according to my keyword research. And honestly, that buzz is understandable; during a Black Friday not so long ago, the Lego UCS Millennium Falcon enjoyed the best discount it's had in the UK for ages.

💲 Premium sets get the biggest price cuts
While cheap and mid-range sets receive plenty of eye-catching reductions, the most expensive ones steal the limelight. That's because hundreds of dollars/pounds can be - and often are - knocked off the MSRP. Actually, I've often seen up to $200 fall away from high-end Technic, Star Wars, and Harry Potter kits more than once.

🧱 Classic Lego isn't left behind, though
That isn't to say non-IP brands will get ignored, of course. City, Classic, Ideas, Icons, Technic, and the rest always receive plenty of savings too, and we'd anticipate new additions to the ever gift-worthy flowers range (like the roses) getting slashed. Indeed, some of the steepest reductions are for the Classic brick boxes that get you a load of building blocks for your own projects.

🎄 Get your Lego advent calendars during Black Friday
It's always worth looking out for Lego Advent Calendars during the sale. These hit all-time low prices during the last November, so keep that in mind for 2025. Just be aware that stock becomes increasingly sparse as we near December, however, so don't hang about for too long. Indeed, a few might have been snapped up before we even reach Black Friday.

A lot of third-party knock-offs will appear
You can basically guarantee that Amazon will be flooded with naff third-party Lego knock-offs during this year's Black Friday sale, so be sure to look a little closer if something seems too good to be true.

So, what about specific sets? Based on the recent Prime Day Lego deals (AKA Big Deal Days), there are some models I'd keep a very close eye on indeed. This year's Advent Calendar range is worth grabbing at your first convenience, because these got big price cuts during Prime and may not last until November as a result. We also saw some record low prices on old faithful sets that usually don't move beyond established discounts - the Piranha Plant comes to mind. Expect an even steeper reduction on that one this time.

It should be an embarrassment of riches in the UK as well. I'd put money on the Deku Tree, Rivendell, Barad-dur, Hogwarts Castle, and the UCS Millennium Falcon hitting record lows during November, because they enjoyed massive discounts for Prime as is. Could we get a similar cut on The Shire, or One Piece models? I'd actually bet on it. It's been long enough since they were released and none have had significant savings yet, so they're prime candidates for slashed prices.

Black Friday Lego deals FAQ

When will Black Friday Lego deals begin?

This year's Black Friday sale is slated to take place on November 28, 2025. However, the discounts aren't limited to that one day. They always start much earlier than that (up to two weeks), and even though the best offers are limited to Black Friday itself, that's not always the case. They traditionally continue into early December as well, albeit rebranded as Cyber Monday Lego deals.

Just remember, the best offers probably won't last long. I've seen flash sales on high-profile kits such as Rivendell drop unexpectedly on Black Friday and disappear a couple of hours later, so keep those eyes peeled.

Where will the best Black Friday Lego deals be?

While usual suspects like Amazon are sure to go all in on Black Friday Lego deals this year (they always do), there are alternatives worth considering as well. For example, Walmart was the real MVP last year. I'd been monitoring the retailer ahead of, during, and after the sale and it was consistently better than the competition, so keep that in mind as things heat up.

The official Lego site is another worthy candidate. I've seen plenty of generous discounts across its range before, and a very healthy 20% was knocked off many sets in Black Fridays past. Seeing as it features some exclusive items you won't find anywhere else, bearing it in mind this November is a must.

Supermarkets are also a great place to go deals-hunting, and some of their offers are better than anything else you'll see. UK shops in particular get their share of excellent Black Friday Lego deals; Aldi sliced a whopping 60% off the Millennium Falcon a little while back, for instance. Have a look online or in person during the 2025 sales in case we get more hot discounts.

So, TLDR? Keep an eye on the following:

US
- Amazon: Traditionally the best
- Walmart: Surprisingly good
- Lego: Discounts up to 40%
- Zavvi: Solid price-cuts
- Best Buy: Great variety

UK
- Amazon: A great all-rounder
- Lego: Discounts up to 40%
- Zavvi: Great reductions
- Very: Reliable source
- Argos: Excellent for savings
- John Lewis: Good for UCS savings

Does Lego take part in Black Friday?

Although the discounts might not be as wide-ranging as they are at other retailers, the Lego Store does get involved with Black Friday. Indeed, you can save 20% on average and anywhere up to 40% if you're quick. These price cuts include multiple ranges, with everything from the enormous Avengers Hulkbuster to the Atari set going on offer in the past.

What does Black Friday mean for Lego fans?

While Black Friday is better known for its tech discounts, you can get some cracking offers on Lego during the event. In fact, some of the year's best prices are found during this November sales extravaganza.

In a nutshell, that is what Black Friday means for Lego fans - the chance to save record amounts on sets that rarely get a reduction (alongside some that do). We've seen this happen over and over again in years gone by, so 2025 shouldn't be any different. As a case in point, the highly sought-after Rivendell kit dropped to its lowest ever price for a limited time last year, and proved to be the best opportunity to save on the kit we've seen before or since. Now that hotly anticipated newcomers such as the Shire, Twilight, and Mario Kart have joined the range, I'm hoping we'll see a similar occurrence this November.

Do Lego Insiders get special deals?

If you're part of Lego's own Insiders program (basically their free sign-up membership), you will indeed get some exclusive offers. That's why it's a good idea to watch the official Lego store when Black Friday gets going.

Naturally, Black Friday Lego deals aren't the only worthwhile offers this November. We can also expect some cracking Black Friday board game deals.
