The big question on everyone's minds is whether the PS5 itself will see any discounts over Cyber Monday this year. That's because the latest wave of PS5 price hikes in the US has made discounts a bit more complicated. Starting August 21, the disc-edition PS5 Slim now has an $549.99 MSRP in the US (originally $500), and the digital version is now $499.99 (originally $449.99). This means that any console or bundle discounts need to be over $50 at least to be worthwhile, as otherwise you'll be getting a PS5 for its original price, which isn't enough to make a fuss about.
Typically, Cyber Monday hasn't been too exciting for console savings anyway, so it's not a huge deal in that regard. However, it's still worth taking on board if you were expecting to see the console get even cheaper as they're approaching their fifth-year anniversary.
