In terms of whether we'll see savings from recent releases (such as Gwent), I think a lot of it comes down to how recently they hit shelves. If the game in question came out toward the first half of the year, chances are pretty good. Finspan will absolutely get a price cut come Prime Day, for example - actually, it already has.
However, if the game has only just come out or is from a smaller developer, it's a bit more touch and go. That's because Amazon doesn't always get brand-new titles in straight away, and if it does, they'll usually cost more than they do at independent retailers. The likes of Miniature Market in the US or the UK's Magic Madhouse traditionally slash the cost of big-hitters from day one, though, so keep an eye on them for games that are hot off the presses.
