Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals are springing to life this weekend, with choose-your-own console bundles hitting the shelves ahead of schedule and a number of discounts on both first and third party games. Not only that, but I'm seeing a sturdy selection of accessories at record-low prices for Memorial Day as well, including super cheap Amiibo and some of our favorite headsets and controllers.
There's a lingering question that I can answer pretty confident right now, though. The Nintendo Switch 2 is incredibly unlikely to see any straight discounts of its own in this sale. Not only has Ninty recently announced price hikes set for September, but the latest handheld launched less than a year ago - that's far too soon for Nintendo hardware to see any real savings.
Still, bundles can save you just over $20 on Pokemon Pokopia, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Mario Kart World this weekend, while individual game deals drop other first party favorites down to their lowest prices yet. You'll find all the best Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals just below.

Memorial Day Nintendo Switch console deals
It's here well ahead of time! The Nintendo Switch 2 Choose Your Game bundle was due to hit the shelves in June, offering a choice between Pokemon Pokopia, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Mario Kart World at a discount. However, Amazon's jumped on this one early - offering up the $500 package in time for Memorial Day.

I told you you'd be able to buy GTA this week. It might not be what you had in mind, but those looking to catch up on the classics would do well to check out this $10 discount on the original Switch version at Amazon. This is the lowest price I've seen on this copy - last spotted over Black Friday.

GameStop is running a half price discount on Metroid Prime 4 right now, but there's a kicker. It looks like your local store needs to have the stock for the deal to become available. Still, that's an excellent discount so it's worth double checking.

Yakuza 0 has sailed down to its best price yet at Amazon, returning to a record-low $24.99 in time for Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals. The Switch 2 version of the game is half price here, where I normally see it settle at around $30 when on sale.

If your local GameStop has the stock, you can pick up Mario & Luigi Brothership for just $15 this Memorial Day. That's a hefty discount, but it looks like availability is running out.

Big if your nearest GameStop has the copies to spare, Pokemon Legends ZA is down to half price for Memorial Day. Just be warned, this deal's a little trickier to get hold of, but it's well worth checking your zip code.

It's not the biggest saving we've seen on Super Mario Bros. Wonder, but those $20 discounts are usually reserved for Black Friday. Instead, I'd recommend opting for Woot if you need a saving on this platformer for Memorial Day - at $46.99 it's the cheapest price on the web.

We're nearly at $20 off Hyrule Warriors at Best Buy this Memorial Day, with the best rate I'm seeing on the web right now. This one doesn't see too many discounts day to day.

Ditching it all to go digital instead? Don't head out without this discount on eShop gift cards at Amazon. It's only a small saving (and only available on the $10 codes), but it's still cash in your back pocket.

Memorial Day Nintendo Switch accessory deals
A bunch of Street Fighter Amiibo have sailed down the price scale in Best Buy's Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals this weekend. That massive $32 discount means figures are going for just $7.99 a piece right now.

I generally only ever recommend this cheaper wired Switch 2 controller when it's on sale, but today we're well below the $25 value sweet spot. Amazon has a record-low price on the extra gamepad - perfect for those who prefer a more traditional controller feel.

The GameSir Super Nova has a secret weapon - wake functionality. That's something generally only reserved for more expensive controllers (and even some $60+ options don't have it). Not only is it super cheap right now, but it's punching in its features as well.

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 is one of the best (if not the best) value wireless headsets you can find for the Switch and Switch 2. That's made even better with a 45% discount at Woot - a $50 saving that returns us to a record-low price I only ever see at this retailer. Other stores tend to cap out at around $80.

A smaller discount on an expensive shell, but Killswitch is a pretty big name in more luxurious Switch 2 accessories and we certainly don't see discounts on its gadgets every day. If you're after a dockable chassis and you're looking to invest, this is well worth investigating.

FAQ
When do Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals start?
Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals should officially kick off on Monday May 25, but realistically I often see these sales starting well ahead of that date. Offers generally start landing around a week before Memorial Day itself, before ramping up towards the weekend.
When will Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals end?
While many may assume this is a one-day affair, Memorial Day sales actually tend to take up around two weeks. That earlier start time leads in with softer savings, and once the holiday is over I often see retailers extending their sales through the week afterwards as well.
Which retailers will be best for Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals 2026?
The likes of Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart are all strong bets for the best Nintendo Switch discounts. Amazon often offers great discounts on consoles and software with its subsidiary, Woot, also putting up a limited number of stock at record-low prices.
Amazon: discounts across OLED and Lite models
Best Buy: daily deals and clearance sales
CDKeys: up to 60% off digital games
What to expect from Memorial Day Nintendo Switch deals in 2026
Things are looking a little tough in the console world right now, but the good news for prospective Switch 2 deal hunters is that Nintendo's price increases aren't set to come into action until September. That means we've still got a few months to claim handhelds before rates jump up to $500.
That's a double edged sword, though. It could also mean retailers are going to be less likely to discount the Nintendo Switch 2 during Memorial Day - they know this is a race (albeit a slow one) against time. Thankfully, Amazon's already ploughing on with a choose-your-own bundle priced at $499. That nets you a discounted game and the console at a great rate, and is likely the best we'll see for the moment.
Games and accessories aren't under the same kinds of pressures as the system itself, though. In fact, third party Switch 2 titles have been enjoying a number of discounts in the last few months and that momentum is continuing as we round the corner to Memorial Day. While older OG Switch titles are still holding onto their $59.99 price tags, newer releases seem to be a little less stubborn.
The sweet spot here will be games launched in the first few months of the Switch 2's life span. Think Yakuza, Cyberpunk, and smaller indie hits.
In much the same way, first party Nintendo accessories aren't expected to drop their MSRPs for some time now. That's bad news if you're after the new Pro Controller or an extra set of Joy-Con. The good news is there are plenty of cheaper third party alternatives doing the rounds - SteelSeries headsets, GameSir controllers, and Belkin cases are the biggies to watch here.
We're rounding up plenty more offers across Nintendo Switch Lite deals and showing you all the best Nintendo Switch accessories to pair your new console with. Or, for more discounts, we're also rounding up the best Memorial Day PS5 deals.
