GamerBlipsPoint your eyes now at this first ever trailer for Midway's The Wheelman, a Driver-meets-Stuntman looking actioner starring Vin Diesel, who also takes the leading role in the film of the same name later this year. Hit the Movies tab above and launch the video player for the footage.
There's precious little detail around on actual gameplay but we do know The Wheelman is entirely set in sunny Barcelona, and that there'll be on-foot missions running alongside the in-vehicle hijinks - which doesn't immediately fill us with confidence, since it was the out-of-the-car elements that crippled Driver's otherwise pure gasoline-driven fun.
Still, this footage sure looks exciting and if we can hope to accomplish any of the high-speed feats seen within - like opening doors into pursuing motorcycle thugs to disarm them, or whizzing beneath flaming petrol-tankers, tearing the car's roof off in the process - then you can sign us up for a stint in The Wheelman's driving seat.
