We're nearly half way through 2026 if you can believe it, so we're taking a look back at the top gaming gadgets we've had on the GamesRadar+ test bench so far.
New SteelSeries headsets, Genki's latest Covert Dock for Switch 2, and a couple of high-flying controllers have received their five-star trophies so far this year. We've also seen new versions of some of our favorite kit in the Audeze Maxwell 2, Asus ROG Raikiri II, Belkin Switch 2 Charging Case Pro, and Elgato Wave:3 Mk. 2.
While there isn't quite as much Valve in here as we'd like, and supply chain constraints mean SSDs and RAM kits are a little light on the market right now, the worlds of headsets, gamepads, Switch accessories, and mice are rolling along nicely.
We've already had major new releases from Logitech, Asus, MSI, and SteelSeries, some of which have made it to the top of this pile. You'll find all our 2026 gaming gadget reviews so far just below.

Managing Editor of Hardware at GamesRadar+, I originally landed in hardware at our sister site TechRadar before moving over to GamesRadar. In between, I've written for Tom’s Guide, Wireframe, The Indie Game Website and That Video Game Blog, covering everything from the PS5 launch to the Apple Pencil. Now, i'm focused on Nintendo Switch, gaming laptops (and the keyboards, headsets and mice that come with them), PS5, and trying to find the perfect projector.
