The GamesRadar+ Summer Preview is here to help your video game wishlist become even more unmanageable. There was a time where we honestly believed that the threat of Grand Theft Auto 6 landing this November would cause the release date schedule for 2026 to collapse. Instead, it would appear that publishers are packing the calendar full of experiences before PS5 and Xbox Series X players flock to Leonida en masse. There's a lot of games vying for your attention right now, and we're hoping that we can help cut through a bit of the noise.

June is when the industry comes together to celebrate what's next in interactive entertainment. Sony's State of Play kicked off the summer of gaming with new looks at key upcoming PS5 games. Summer Game Fest followed with huge dives into the new games of 2026 of its own across the likes of Resident Evil and Final Fantasy. Then, we had the Xbox Games Showcase, providing a deep-dive into the essential upcoming Series X and Games Pass games. And don't forget about the Future Games Show and PC Gaming Show, Future's own digital showcases, which helped round out the Summer Game Fest Schedule.
