GTA 6 pre-orders are incoming, so here's where and how to secure your copy on June 25
GTA 6 pre-orders are officially dropping on June 25
Rockstar has officially announced that GTA 6 pre-orders are on their way, and you can secure your copy as soon as June 25, 2026 - well, so long as there's no more delays.
Last month, the rumor mill was lit with speculation that GTA 6 pre-orders would be incoming as Best Buy affiliates were being informed that they could secure their copies in a matter of days. As it turns out, those rumors were not right on the money, and it wasn't until now that Rockstar would announce that GTA 6 pre-orders would officially land "on digital storefronts and at other select retailers."
This confirmation is a nice consolation prize after the long 13-year wait, but pricing, availability, and whether or not there will be a jam-packed collector's edition with Leonida-themed branded goodies, is still unknown. Fortunately, the wait won't be too long, as it's just a matter of days until we can get our hands on the game, and to make that easier, I've gathered all the retailer links you'll need ahead of time.
I'll be checking back in on June 25th to keep you updated on all the best places to secure your copy so do be sure to bookmark this page, and any of the shopping links down below. In the meantime, I recommend preparing yourself (and your wallet) for the carnage that is to come once GTA 6 pre-orders go live.

As Rockstar is still hush-hush on what exact retailers will be stocking GTA 6 pre-orders on June 25, I've used my years of covering game pre-orders and selected US retailers I suspect will have copies available on the day.
Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop are most reliable for listing the latest pre-orders as soon as they drop, in my experience, so I've made sure to include them below. Remember, this is all speculation for now, but if you must bookmark a page as soon as possible, I've laid out a few options for you.

Where to pre-order Grand Theft Auto 6 in the UK
In the UK, it's a similar story. Rockstar has only shared the date GTA 6 pre-orders go live, and that lovely new cover art, so we can only speculate what UK stores are actually going to stock the game on June 25.
Amazon, Very, and Currys are some of the most reliable UK retailers to list pre-orders as soon as they drop, so I've been sure to list their links down below. As always, once GTA 6 pre-orders are live, this list will be updated, but until then, I recommend keeping these links spare to ensure you have the best chance to secure GTA 6 next week.

Ever since I first held a NES controller in my hand I've been obsessed with gaming, and the hardware it runs on. I could hook up a NES and SNES to a telly, without instructions, before I could walk. Even now, nothing is more exciting then taking a console, or handheld, out the box for the first time and setting it up. This obsession transformed into a love of games and game music, which lead to my music degree and dream of becoming the Scottish Nobuo Uematsu. After sharing my love of games through music, I began to share my love through words on sites like TechRadar and iMore. This lead to becoming a Hardware staff writer for PCGamesN, and later the Senior Tech Writer for Dexerto, covering all things Steam Deck, PlayStation and Nintendo. With that experience, I was able to level up as Hardware Editor for GamesRadar+, where I'm still just as Nintendo, PlayStation and gaming tech obsessed as ever.
