The list of upcoming superhero movies is looking pretty stacked over the next few years. In fact, since both Marvel Phase 6 and the DCU Chapter One plan is underway, comic book fans especially are eating good right now.
However, since we are in a great period of superhero cinema, that means that there is a lot to keep track of, as well as new movies being announced constantly. Heck, San Diego Comic-Con 2026 recently revealed two new flicks (one of them is a Ryan Gosling Ghost Rider film, which I'm personally very excited about) and D23 may be giving us even more Marvel goodness as well. Looking at the immediate future, though, Spider-Man: Brand New Day (while out now in the UK) is still heading to US cinemas in just a few hours. So yeah, staying on top of everything can be tricky.
Well, fear not, I'm here to help. Below are all the upcoming Marvel movies, upcoming DC movies, and all the other superhero projects that may not fall under the traditional comic book market. I keep this page regularly updated as well, so there really is no better breakdown for all the upcoming superhero movies in 2026 and beyond than right here.

New superhero movies (TBA)
Several upcoming superhero movies have been announced and are in various stages of pre-development. However, there's no guarantee that any of these (bar a few MCU and DC offerings) will make it to the big screen. But they're worth keeping an eye on, nonetheless!
Previous DC projects, such as Gotham City Sirens and Green Lantern Corps, are now dead under the new DC Studios regime. Co-CEO James Gunn announced the slate for DCU's Chapter One: Gods and Monsters in January 2023. But, a new Wonder Woman movie is on the way.
