Fortnite Challenges: How to complete all of the weekly challenges in Fortnite

Although there are always small tweaks to them between seasons, the weekly Fortnite challenges have been a staple of the game since they first arrived in Season 3 of the original chapter, so we all should know how they work. That being said, there's always a couple of tasks each week that require some explaining or particular collectible items to locate, and providing help with these is even more important now the Fortnite challenges are no longer locked behind the Battle Pass. This means all Fortnite players can complete them and rack up the XP to collect free rewards, adding new locker items without spending any of those V-Bucks if you'd prefer not to.

To complete the weekly Fortnite challenges there are often hidden items to find, as well as specific tasks to complete which may not seem straightforward at first. Don't worry though, as we're here working our way through the Fortnite challenges every week to bring you tips for getting through them fast, as well as additional guides for any tasks that require further explanation.

The Fortnite Week 1 challenges introduced us to some of the new areas around the island, such as Rickety Rig, as well as fresh mechanics including dealing damage within 10 seconds of landing from the Whirlpool at Fortnite Hydro 16. There's also a process to follow if you want to defeat a squad of Henchmen to enter the Fortnite Catty Corner vault, as well as a trio of Fortnite gnomes in Homely Hills to track down.

For the Fortnite Week 2 challenges we're taking in some more new locations, including whizzing around all the Ziplines attached to The Authority in the centre of the map and headshotting Henchmen patrolling around The Fortilla. The main collectible items for this week are Fortnite Deadpool floaties, which are scattered around The Yacht found on the north coast, as well as foraged items such as apples and cabbage within the Fortnite Orchard area.

When taking on the Fortnite Week 3 challenges, you'll need to head into the stronghold of The Authority to eliminate some opponents, bust out some dance moves on top of the Rickety Rig crane, and deal damage while hiding in the Frenzy Farm cornfields. There are four Fortnite Floating Rings at Lazy Lake to find and collect, and you'll also want to commandeer one of the Fortnite helicopters then fly it into the Steamy Stacks to land at the bottom.

In the Fortnite Week 4 challenges we're heading back to Rickety Rig once again to harvest some metal, as well as revisiting Steamy Stacks in search of some ammo boxes to stock up with. There are more hovering loops to collect with the Fortnite Floating Rings at Pleasant Park, then get your best emote ready to dance in front of the Fortnite Sweaty Sands camera for 10 seconds.

We'll continue to update this guide each week during the season, as new sets of Fortnite challenges become available to take on.
