Exclusive: Klonoa Bonus Stages

These challenging levels put us through the ringer

You know what was a great game that you didn’t play? Klonoa on the original PlayStation. Released in small supply and now fetching surprisingly high prices on eBay, the first game in an underrated platforming series at last gets a rerelease, on the Wii specifically. Now a whole new generation can have some 2.5D fun with the adorable… what is he? A rabbit-koala-cat?

Anyway, despite it being a recreation, Klonoa on the Wii also has some new bonus stages we are proud to reveal to you now. They are hidden in the main levels and are for seasoned Klonoa players only. We played them a little and after crying over our lack of skill, let us tell you they ain’t easy. Here’s some video of the stages in action, so start making your strategies for beating them now. You’ll need them.

Meh, I like the wii, but the controls... not so much.

I'll pick up this game eventually. To many damn good games coming out now. Where the hell were these kinds of things last year?

@Teh_Ty You hold it like an NES controller or (I think) you can use the classic controller. I don't want 2-D platformers on the 360 until Microsoft fixes the super mooshy D-pad.

I effing loved Klonoa on the PS, it was one of my first games. I was shocked to see anything new having to do with it.

2009 is shaping up to be awesome. Nice to see a lot more genres popping up this year. 2008 was awfully shooter-filled.
