Best Black Friday Xbox deals 2025: The best discounts to expect from this year's sale
Black Friday Xbox Series X deals are coming back this November, what should you expect?

The best Black Friday Xbox deals are the best time to bolster up your Xbox gaming setup with fancy new accessories, whether you just grabbed an Xbox Series X/S for the first time or just want to breathe new life into your aging Microsoft machine.
Last year's Black Friday gaming deals didn't see any huge console savings, as the new models of the Xbox Series X/S had just launched. However, picking them up at full price still saved some cash had you bought the storage to make up the difference. The best Black Friday Xbox deals were found with games, either from Game Pass subscriptions or physical releases, with three months of Game Pass Ultimate dropping to just $27.99, and new record lows on 2024 game releases from Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
The Xbox Series X/S just got its second price increase of the year, so this year's Black Friday console deals aren't going to be ideal. We'll at least be here to use our bargain-hunting skills to ensure you're actually making a saving, and not just playing prices that we'd not have bothered with years prior, which includes savings on console bundles, headsets, controllers, and storage, and any other kind of deals that will make an appearance this November.
Black Friday Xbox Deals: FAQ
Black Friday Xbox Deals - What to expect
Black Friday Xbox deals in 2025 are hard to predict, namely, as there haven't been any big hardware released since last year's big sales event. In 2024, we did see the release of new versions of the Xbox Series X and S consoles, which brought with them some well-needed storage upgrades. If you had been putting off picking up an Xbox console, I'd typically recommend those as the ones to keep an eye out for when November rolls around. However, the second wave of Xbox hardware price increases has made the Series X/S more inaccessible than ever before, so it's likely any console or bundle deals that appear this Black Friday will actually be closer to their past prices, which is a bit of a bummer to say the least.
If you already own a Series X/S console, keeping an eye on the best Xbox Series X accessory deals is a better idea. This Black Friday, I expect to see the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless receive record new lows. Last year, our favorite gaming headset dropped down to $279.99 during Black Friday, a big difference from its $349 / £329 MSRP. It was still higher than its record-low of $249.99, but 2025 could be the year it returns to its lowest-ever price so far. Xbox headsets like the Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 only launched this year, and have already seen discounts of up to $30 at retailers like Amazon. If it's regularly seeing discounts throughout the year, it's bound to see further savings when November rolls around - which is great news if you play Xbox consoles, and the PC and PS5.
With Game Pass reaching record subscription numbers in 2025, this November will hopefully follow suit from 2024 and be another ideal time to grab some of the best Game Pass deals. Of course, if you prefer boosting your physical game collection, then there will still be deals on the best Xbox games too. Last year we saw record lows for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and Sonic x Shadow Generations. As is typical with physical Xbox games every Black Friday, savings across 2024 games will re-appear, and if we're lucky, we could see price drops on some big 2025 releases, like Doom The Dark Ages, Monster Hunter Wilds and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

When will Black Friday Xbox deals start?
Black Friday Xbox deals will land on November 28 this year, but considering we saw sales properly kick off a few days earlier in 2024 (and the year before) we'd recommend preparing your wallet from the beginning of Thanksgiving Week onwards. We generally see discounts tick up from October onwards, especially since Prime Day events are becoming more widespread at other retailers.
How to get the best Black Friday Xbox deals
Black Friday Xbox deals can move quickly, especially if they're on the latest games or high-flying accessories. That's why it pays to have a game plan going into the event. We've been tracking Black Friday for years now, and we've got some tips and tricks that will see you safely to checkout when 2025's deals officially kick off.
1. Know when to buy
You have probably seen offers branded as Black Friday Xbox deals landing from as early as October, however it can pay to wait until at least the start of Thanksgiving before making the leap. That's when we start to see retailers offering larger discounts, with the truly blockbuster offers landing on the Friday itself.
However, it's worth noting that these deals will run out of stock a little quicker - and there's no guarantee that a lower price will be available. If you don't want to fight for it, we'd recommend picking up a good price any time in late November.
2. Stick around
Once you've found your perfect price, it's worth keeping a close eye on the rest of the weekend's offers. Retailers sometimes discount certain colorways or games even further over Cyber Monday, if they aren't performing as well. Keep your original purchase boxed and you might be able to get a better price later on.
3. Stay in touch
We'll be rounding up all the very best Black Friday Xbox deals right here, which means you can bookmark this page and come back on the day for a curated roundup of the biggest offers available.
4. Learn what a good deal looks like
If you've already got a handful of products on your shopping list, it's time to start tracking their prices. We'd recommend keeping a close eye on the accessories or games you're looking for over the next couple of months, and take note of any significant price drops.
Not only will you know what a good deal looks like on the day, but some products may, in fact, see record low prices that are worth grabbing before Black Friday Xbox Series X deals even begin.

Weekly digests, tales from the communities you love, and more
One of my earliest memories is playing SuperMario64 and wondering why the controller I held had three grips, but I only had two hands. Ever since I've been in love with video games and their technology. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Journalism, I contributed to the Scottish Games Network and completed an Editorial Internship at Expert Reviews. Over the last decade, I’ve been managing my own YouTube channel about my love of games too. These days, I'm one of the resident hardware nerds at GamesRadar+, and I take the lead on our coverage of gaming PCs, VR, controllers, gaming chairs, and content creation gear. Now, I better stop myself here before I get talking about my favourite games like HUNT: Showdown, Dishonored, and Towerfall Ascension.
