Best Buy's Black Friday in July sale has returned for 2026, and this year we've got a pretty solid split between PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC kit. While some heavy hitters have been left at full price, I'm seeing some of the biggest tech of the last 12 months returning to record-low prices, from the Hall effect Asus ROG Falcata keyboard to the previously stubborn Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro.
Games are getting involved as well, though now we know there's a limited shelf life on these PS5 discs. Borderlands, Alan Wake, and Assassin's Creed fans can still get their discounted cases in the cart, though, while Nintendo Switch players have more Shadows and Persona 3 to munch on as well.
I've scrolled through Best Buy's entire Black Friday in July sale and, while we're not quite at holiday levels of fever pitch with these discounts, there's still plenty to take advantage of. This isn't just a random grab-bag of offers, though. I'm only highlighting the tech and games we've had in our hands and actively recommend every day. Not only that, but I'm keeping this list limited to those gadgets at (or very near) their lowest prices of the year. That's the best tech and its best price.

Victrix Pro BFG
The Victrix Pro BFG has been our top controller for PC, Xbox Series X, and PS5 for some time now, but the PC-focused Reloaded version is usually stuck at around $170 when on sale. Originally starting life at $209.99, Best Buy's $50 discount is actually a $70 saving on that launch price.
The original seems to have been run off the shelves at Amazon, with only the newer model now available. Both offer that full modular swap system, though, with new controls popped in and out of the chassis with only a quick unscrewing job.
This model doesn't come with the fightpad module we loved on the previous iterations, though it is available separately for $24.99 (Turtle Beach) separately if you need it. If I had a dollar for every time I recommended the Razer Basilisk V3, I could just about buy the DeathAdder V4 Pro. This is a budget-friendly wired rodent with the guts to take on the vast majority of casual and lightly competitive play, plenty of buttons to play with, and a slick underglow RGB effect that looks fantastic. It's on sale a lot. In fact, it's been years since that $69.99 MSRP poked its head out, but as the best gaming mouse for sheer value it's always going to get a mention when it pops down to $34.99.
For your money, you're getting a comfortable, reliable, 26,000 DPI mouse with a wide back, ample thumb shelf, and battery-free design.
Sure, it's not going to make the most sense if you're a more competitive player and that cable can drag across a desktop - but for those after a simple point'n'clicker it's almost always my first recommendation.

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headlined our best gaming headset guide for years, only to be knocked off the top spot by its successor, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Omni. This is still a fantastic headset, though, combining some of the best audio in the market with unique extra features that really do enhance the quality of your experience.
The biggest bonus comes in the form of those hot-swappable batteries. The 2.4GHz connection hub (/DAC / EQ customizer) charges one battery pack while the other slots into the headset. When the headset dies, simply swap them over - no charging cable needed.
