No PC version? Or even an Android version? Well screw you Popcap.
  • Rub3z - June 4, 2013 9:34 p.m.

Android gets none of the good games... Also, that is an awesome fucking trailer. Pause it throughout and you can read the funny messages on his wall, refrigerator and newspaper referencing the last game.

    Something is...amiss.
  • shawksta - June 4, 2013 7:29 a.m.

You bet your ass somethings amiss, F2P and Apple devices while PC and Android gets shafted!?
  • PatHan-bHai - June 3, 2013 1:27 p.m.

I hate the way how they've changed the HUD :(
  • shawksta - June 3, 2013 5:01 p.m.

Actually thats similar to the way the HUD was for the phone versions, and considering this is going to apple products first, it makes sense. The PC version, whenever it happens, will probably bring back the old one
  • PatHan-bHai - June 4, 2013 2:23 a.m.

    Let's hope so......Fingers crossed!

I agree, my baby sisters have always causing trouble by purchasing stuff on my otherwise F2P phone games, and its worse when a credit card is already registered. If you can get everything in a game by both paying and not paying, then their better off just selling us the game on a reasonable price for the entire thing
  • agentkuo - June 3, 2013 11:58 a.m.

That has to be one of the best game trailers ever!
  • FoxdenRacing - June 3, 2013 11:40 a.m.

I'll avoid the whole F2P minefield and just say this: I'm not sure how much I like the interface. They've managed to clutter it up, while simplifying the already flat-shaded-cartoony art style.

Thank goodness I have an iPhone. Honestly free-to-play doesn't bother me much, especially for this game. Most free-to-play games may be annoying shovelware, but that doesn't mean the entire concept is bad. I mean I won't have to wait to buy this because there's so much other stuff coming out, so that's something.
  • Chaoscoolperson - June 3, 2013 12:54 p.m.

I never said it needed it I just said I'm not bothered by it. I can deal with the model. If a game is fun its fun and if its not or if its annoying by constantly asking to buy things, then I can delete it no cost. I would buy this game eventually but there's to many other things coming out this year such as two new consoles. This is actually helpful in that they're making it available to people who wouldn't put this at the top of their priority list otherwise. There are also much worse things in the industry that could've been done to this like DRM or something. Free-to-play just isn't a deal breaker for me.

It's not a bad concept, as a theory on a piece of paper...we've had the concept of demos for decades [get a few levels free, pay for the rest]. Problem is it's so ripe for abuse, and so easy to abuse. Not helping the matter any are the wild success stories of a few, which tempt the many...especially the 'get rich quick' types. It can be done well...but it's done so poorly so often that it's got a reputation almost as bad as EA's.

As GamesradarsCamelToe and his other incarnations would say GODDAMN IPADS seriously though, it looks like but darn it
