Thatgamecompany and Fun Bits Interactive are lending out some of their biggest stars to appear as downloadable costumes in LittleBigPlanet 2. This week, Sackboy enthusiasts will be able to expand their wardrobe with two new costume packs inspired by the PS-zen's Journey and PS Vita's Escape Plan.
Revealed this week on the US PlayStation Blog (and teased last month in LittleBigPlanet DLC roster getting Journey content soon) Journey's costume collection will include Sackboy-esque versions of the main cloth...uh...thing, and special stickers that can be used to craft Journey themed worlds. The Escape Plan costume pack will include black numbered jumpsuit based on Lil and Laarg's death count outfits.
Media Molecule did not give a price for the new content, however it's likely they will follow in the footsteps of other LBP2 DLC and sell for $1.99 each when they arrive this week.
Media Molecule has done an admirable job of keeping LittleBigPlanet 2's community thriving since the game's launch in January 2011. Update 1.12, released last week, eliminated the ability to leave “boo” comments on user created levels, added the ability to disable negative feedback, and tweaked the Dive-in feature.
