The biggest gaming show of the year isn't over quite yet, but the three biggest conferences have already come and gone. So what was your favorite moment? Best announcement? Most awkward presenter? Did your favorite company meet your expectations?

Metroid M, 360 metal gear, and left4dead 2 were pretty cool, new super mario galaxy also; other than that, honestly this e3 was better than last years, but nothing I'm interested in or haven't seen before was unvailed was unvailed

My favorite moment at e3 thus far has to have been Metroid: Other M. Especially from Brett's liveblog of it.

I thought Sony's motion controls were pretty lame, we all know you can't play complex games just by waving your arms around, and all the games they showed were just tech demos. That's exactly what Nintendo did three years ago (yes, Wii Sports is just a tech demo). The Sony wand things don't even have buttons, it looks like.

All the announcements of new features coming to the 360 really blew me away yesterday; Last.fm integration, 1080p movies, and especially full game downloads (not just one or two games, like PS3). I was expecting this feature to become standard by the next console generation (like it has on PC with Steam), but it's awesome that's it's coming so soon. The demonstration video for Project Natal was pretty cool, but it wasn't even a controlled demo; none of those people were playing games or controlling interfaces with it. After reading Kotaku's hands-on with it playing Burnout Paradise, though, it looks like it actually works. I think it could also be practical for use in interfaces, like in the demo video.

Kotaku Natal Burnout Paradise hands-on:

As for games, we all already know tons of great games that are coming to the 360, but the just announced Halo: Reach, Left4Dead 2, Crackdown 2, Metal Gear Solid: Rising don't hurt either.

ALSO: Golden Sun DS. WAAAAAAAANNNNNT.

The Beatles Rock Band intro cinematic was toe-curling gorgeous. Once the vid hit GameTrailers, I sent emails out to a whole boatload of people with the link... My parents, my uncles, my aunts, friends who are Beatles fans, people who love games but are less than interested in the Beatles...

Pretty much got the reaction I got from everyone. "DO WANT"

Final Fantasy XIV getting announced before XIII even released... Sony claiming XIV is PS3 exclusive because its only possible on PS3... then this morning SE says its going multi-platform. Seems like someone at Square-Enix likes drama as much as a group of jr high girls.

They didn't confirm that it's multiplat, they said that they are "considering" more platforms.

The Gamesradar traffic accident. I can just see all of you piling out of the car like drunk clowns doing the Night at the Roxbury head bob.

I think I read on 1UP, that is indeed going to PC's...Which isn't really a surprise...I think the exclusivity still counts regardless of that factor...IDK...
