Question 29: What classic game do you want remade?

Could be something from the NES/SNES days like Mega Man 9 or Bionic Commando Rearmed, or a modern 3D update of something similarly old.
Also, Fallout 3 is an example of something fairly old getting a massive makeover.
So, what do YOU want to see remade, and that so far still hasn't been?

They could do a "New Super Mario World." It worked last time, and it could work again.
Bonus: Sega, go the Capcom way and do Sonic The Hedgehog 4 already!!!

Sonic's the obvious one. The old 2Ds were great, as we all know, but the new additions are painful, as we all very well know. We could use a Mega Man 9 treatment there.

I was thinking of A Boy and His Blob, but I think I heard they were doing a remake on that one. Other than that, I'd have to say Little Nemo: Dream Master. I don't know how good it would be as a remake but I have a lot of good memories of it growing up.
Oh- maybe Shinobi III. That was great game.

Legend of the Mystic Ninja...I know there were sequels on N64, but I want the original SNES version remade...Pwease Konami?

Metal Slug HD.
Doesn't have to be 3D, more SSF2THDR style. You've got a huge canvas SNK. I want more than 6 Missions that barely branch out and fix the slowdown please. I've played every one except 7 and I can't help but realize they are, while fun, all the same.

Contra already has a game on the DS.
and a 3D Metal Slug has been made. it was horrid from what i've heard. sooo... let's hope it would only be 2D.

I've always thought that Ico and SotC (particularly SotC) would be amazing with next/current/what-ever-we-call-em gen graphics. As a game that is pretty much nothing but massive and detailed environments, it would be one of the best things to happen to the PS3.

You know, I thought about Zombies Ate My Neighbors but Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia for the 360 is kind of the spiritual remake/sequel to it. I never played that one but based on the videos and reviews of it, I'm guessing they play/look somewhat similar.

Golden Axe... oh wait...
Actually, really, Golden Axe 4 in a HD Remix 2D style. Plus, online and local coop.
Beat em ups and hack and slash games are the pinnacle of fun when they're multiplayer.
It's one of the reasons recent beat em ups have been missing something, like Madworld, Onechambara, and Golden Axe have kind of sucked, they lacked coop.
I'd also LOVE a Strider update. Something more action/adventure like the NES version, rather than just a single player hack and slash like the arcade/genesis.
Another thing I've been wishing for lately, is if they're going 'wii-make' everything anyways, I'd like them to wii-make the Gamecube Crystal Chronicles and Zelda Four Swords into an online multiplayer with minimal waggle because they're so much more fun multiplayer.
That would be a legitimate reason for me to get the Wii-speak peripheral. But, I'm sure they've already forgotten about the Wii-speak because Nintendo always seems to forget about their own hardware as soon as they release it.
Secret of Mana and Seiken Densetsu 3 with added online multiplayer would be nice too.
