let's try something.
post some of your gaming shame here. everyone probably has some. then afterwords, post a facepalm.
for example:
i have never beat super mario bros. 2, and i've never played bioshock. AND, i've also bought all 3 multi-platform versions of sonic heroes (not at the same time, over time because i couldn't decide if i liked it or not.)

gaming facepalm moment!
It was in Phantom Hourglass, and I spent a WHOLE DAY trying to get to somewhere, only to find out that all i had to do was dig up the very obvious spot on the ground so the wind would blow me where i needed to be.
And! i have so many games I never beat that if i were to sit down and play them to defeation, I think i'd be set for months.

I've...uh...actually played the BioShock demo and uh...oh geeze. I didn't like it. I didn't have the balls to keep playing through F.E.A.R. after about an hour.

Played every Crash Bandicoot game. Never beaten a Mega Man level EVER. Hated TES Morrowind.
*slaps hand face*
Don't feel like taking my camera out of it's case, taking a pic, uploading it, condensing it in photoshop (they were 2 megs in their original state), posting it on photobucket, and finally posting it on here. (Yes that is how I posted the pics of me and my game pad, sorry if there's an easier way but I'm a stupid bum)

i love the MGS series but have never actually beaten the first one...only got like halfway through...
and..uhh...gonna catch some crap...but...uhh...iv NEVER played a final fantasy game...
oh i forgot. i hate the halo series. i only got the 3rd one because of hype and i wanted to play with friends. i ended up liking it. but i still havent played the other two at all.

that's ok. the only final fantasy game i ever extensively played was tactics...advance.
i played a tiny bit of VII and VIII, but i didn't like them. :O

I've only played X... oops I mean 10! Never finished it though, my disc froze so I just looked at the ending on youtube.

I put (about) 148 hours into Pokemon yellow.... and about 96 into Pokemon blue........
I got beat up alot in grade school.

Gaming Shame: Never played Guitar Hero or Rock Band. Only played on a 360 twice (I just have a tough time getting comfortable with the controller)

Even though I own it, I've never played Chrono Trigger.
I like Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest more than Final Fantasy 6.
I've never played Final Fantasy 7, 8, or 9. I've never played the original version of Metal Gear Solid. Actually, the list of original PlayStation games I have played is quite short.

Never played any Final Fantasy. My favorite Mario game is Mario 64. I lost my Game Gear.
I bought Enter The Matrix the week it came out.
