How to repair your ship in Black Flag Resynced
There are two ways to repair the Jackdaw in Black Flag Resynced
Repairing your ship in Black Flag Resynced can only be done by paying a Harbourmaster to fix it up or boarding enemy ships. Both methods have pros and cons, so it's important to know how they work and when it's best to use them and keep the Jackdaw in working order while on the high seas in Black Flag Resynced. I've explained the two main ways to repair your ship in AC Black Flag below.
How to repair the Jackdaw in Black Flag Resynced
The Jackdaw has limited passive health regeneration in Black Flag Resynced, which kicks in whenever you're not in combat. The Jackdaw's health bar is split into three sections, and your crew can only fully repair one section.
So, if you need to repair your ship back up to full health after a battle or need some emergency repairs mid-fight, you need to use one of the following methods:
- Visit a Harbourmaster and pay for repairs: The Jackdaw will be instantly repaired to full health, costing either 250 or 500 Reales depending on how much repair work is needed. If you need repairs after a big naval battle, head straight to a Harbourmaster.
- Successfully board an enemy ship and select the Repair option: Doing so restores the Jackdaw's health by a significant amount but won't necessarily fully repair it. If you're in the middle of a big battle – say you're raiding a Black Flag Resynced Naval Convoy – boarding a weaker ship and using it for repairs can keep you in the fight.
It's also worth mentioning that the Jackdaw will get fully repaired for free after completing main quests and other activities, so you won't have to worry about repairs all the time.
However, if you find that the Jackdaw keeps getting destroyed or severely damaged to the point of needing frequent repairs, make sure you focus your upgrading efforts on the hull, which bolsters the ship's maximum health. That makes each of the health bar's three sections more robust, and means you'll be saving Reales on repairs. To max out the hull's strength, you need to know where the blueprint is for the Black Flag Resynced Ultimate Plan for the hull. Make sure you've also recruited Lucy as one of your Black Flag Resynced Officers as her Perfect Brace ability can help a lot with damage mitigation.
