August 5, 2026: I checked for any new Black Flag Resynced codes, confirming that no fresh promos have been released recently and that's there's still an error message being returned for one code meaning it may have unofficially expired.
Black Flag Resynced codes are in high demand, as they can be used to claim free rewards in this updated swashbuckling adventure. Some are cosmetic, such as fresh sails to adorn your ship, but you can also redeem them to get Animus keys – and there's enough on offer to unlock one of three new swords for Edward Kenway to wield. To find out more, here are all of the Black Flag codes and how to redeem them for rewards.
All Black Flag Resynced codes
The following Black Flag Resynced codes can be redeemed for rewards:
- ACBF-PHGN-SYBJ-RTRF – 1,500 Animus keys, Crimson Storm Sails (note: although not officially expired, this code is currently giving an error message)
- ASC-BFR-PMK-000 – Shipmate Monkey Pet
Neither of these Black Flag codes have an official expiry date, although when the first one was announced producer Justin Ng said it "will remain available for a limited redemption period" and players trying to redeem it are currently receiving an error message, so it's not clear if this is a temporary issue or the promo has actually expired.
There is also another route to claim rewards for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced:
- Complete Red Bull Quiz – Wings of the Tempest Sails (expires September 30, 2026)
The previous Twitch Drops to unlock the Rustborne Swords and Cheetah Claw Cat Pet expired on August 2, 2026, though it's always worth keeping an eye on the current Twitch Drops Campaigns to see if anything new has been added.
To complete the Red Bull quiz, scroll down the page until you find the 'Spin' button and hit that to start the questions. There are six in total and you only need to answer one of them correctly, then provide your name and email at the end to receive a unique code. When you redeem that code a message which pops up suggests this reward may not be available yet, and you'll receive a further email from Red Bull once it's in the game, so don't stress if you can't immediately find it.
How to redeem Black Flag Resynced codes
The most direct way to redeem Black Flag Resynced codes is to activate them in-game, by entering the pause menu then following the Store prompt in the top right corner of the screen, before hitting the Redeem Code option to the bottom left of the screen.
However, some players (especially on consoles) have reported issues with this process, so you can also redeem Black Flag codes though the Ubisoft Connect app by tapping your profile icon then choosing the Key Activation option, or going through the official Redeem codes site and following the steps there. You'll need a Ubisoft Connect account for either of those routes, so if you don't have one already then complete the process to set one up.
