Is Black Flag Resynced on Game Pass?
Will the Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake be on Xbox Game Pass any time soon?
Is Black Flag Resynced coming to Xbox Game Pass, and if so, when will it be? The Assassin's Creed series as a whole has a pretty reliable history of coming to the Game Pass subscription system, but with business challenges for both Ubisoft and Xbox recent months, it's worth looking to see if that's likely to be reappraised any time soon.
Is Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced coming to Xbox Game Pass?
No, the Black Flag remake is not currently on Xbox Game Pass, and there's not yet been any sign of when or if it will be added.
However, it's worth acknowledging that most previous Assassin's Creed games have been added to Game Pass some time after release, though this doesn't include 2025's Assassin's Creed Shadows at time of writing, so we can't say that it's a definitive guarantee, or at the very least may take a while for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced to be added.
That being said, you can play the original from 2013 on Game Pass, if all you need is some form of Edward Kenway's adventures. Our own Black Flag Resynced review felt uncertain about whether it truly outshone the acclaimed original, so it's possible you might get the better experience from going back to the first incarnation.
If you're a PC gamer, it's also true that you can get Black Flag Resynced as part of the Ubisoft+ Subscription service, as long as you get the Premium subscription.

He is a firm believer that the vast majority of games would be improved by adding a grappling hook, and if they already have one, they should probably add another just to be safe.
