Bound by Flame side quest guide

Act 3 - Assault on Blackfrost's Palace

Chapter 2 - Witch Hunt

The Soul of a Prince

Prerequisite: Side with Rhelmar at the end of Act 2
Note: This quest is activated in Chapter 1, but you can't complete it until this point.

If you move through the Sewers with Rhelmar, he'll mention a strange corpse. A little later, he'll remark that it's the body of Prince Arandil, and that he wants you to reach the body. You can't do this yet, so proceed through Chapter 2 until you battle the Creator Concubine. After her defeat, you'll be able to reach the body back in the Sewers. Head there, retrieve the stone from the body, then complete the ritual to finish the quest.

Edwen's Artifact

Prerequisite: Side with Edwen at the end of Act 2
Note: This quest is activated in Chapter 1, but you can't complete it until this point.

If you move through the Sewers with Edwen, she'll mention a strange artifact, but you can’t interact with it yet. Proceed through Chapter 2 until you battle the Creator Concubine; After her defeat, you'll be able to reach the artifact back in the Sewers. This requires a "mix of fire and ice" to activate--you can do so with the response about knowing "a funny way to do that." This not only completes the quest, but also completes Edwen's seduction (more on that in our Bound by Flame seduction guide).

The Blades Enslaved

Prerequisite: Complete "Save the Elf Soldiers"
Note: This quest is activated in Chapter 1, but you can't complete it until this point.

You'll encounter Buffalo when freeing the soldiers; he'll tell you that other mercenaries have gone missing. Proceed through the Chapter 2 story mission until you battle the Watcher Concubine. You'll find the Freeborn Blades here under her control; defeat her without killing them (it can be tough) to break the spell and complete the quest.
