Angry Bird developer tweets plans for Christmas spin-off

App developer Rovio has some Christmas ideas cooking for Angry Bird fans. Following the tremendous success of its Halloween-themed content, the company's Twitter account is aflutter with hints of something similar for the holiday season.

Still counting their money from the 1 million+ sales from October's holiday offering, Rovio tweeted,  “Really happy with Angry Birds Halloween results, we will do something cool for Christmas too. A bit different too..."

Granted, its not the most eye-opening statement to come out of Rovio's Twitter account, but it is good news for Angry Bird fans who want something to do over the holiday break.

Above: Like this, but with snowbirds?

Currently, Rovio is also exploring its options with the new Windows Phone 7 and will soon be releasing its Mighty Eagle Feature which allows gamers to fly by levels by donating a few cents to a giant in-game bird.

I just got a simple little itouch the other day to replace an ipod and I downloaded the free demo and I must say.. I played it over and over again until I got a 3 star on all of them. It's a great game to have just on the go when you are bored.. or taking a poop

Played this game for an hour yesterday and could not stand it. Loved an Xbox Indie game equivalent oddly enough. Anyone else not liking all the iphone *cough* "game" coverage?
