Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment will drop their next giant robot shooter from orbit some time in or before March 2017. The publisher revealed in its third-quarter 2016 earnings call that it will release "a new Titanfall experience" in its 2017 fiscal year. In non-executive speak, that means sometime between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017.
We've still heard next to nothing about the sequel, and the original Titanfall came out in March 2014, so I'd expect its release date to fall near the end of that spectrum. At least we know Titanfall 2 will hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One and that it probably won't have community-dividing paid map packs.
The earnings call also re-confirmed that Mass Effect Andromeda and a new Battlefield are planned for release in EA's 2017 fiscal year (again, that's April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017), though we already knew they were both coming in time for holiday 2016.
