It's time for Black Friday gaming PC deals, which means it's also time to dust off your old PC parts and ask if they need an upgrade. It's also the best time to hop into the gaming PC hobby in general. Multiple retailers are getting involved, fighting over the best prices for different brand deals from their own in-house ones to premium builds that are often sought after. The most deals skew towards entry and mid-level machines, but there's something for everyone here. The most exciting deals I've seen so far sell out fast, so if something is interesting you don't wait too long!

These Black Friday gaming deals are lowering PC prices at every level. So if you were in the market for something, now is the time to see if there's something suddenly within your budget you never even dreamed off before. There are great offers to be had up and down the price range and after covering the Black Friday gaming PC deals every year for the last four Black Fridays now, this year is looking like it could be one of the best.

The best gaming PCs have only gotten more powerful over time, with new graphics cards from NVIDIA and AMD launching recently. However, buying all those, with the components, cases, RAM and more to build you own can soon get complicated and pricey (especially with RAM prices suffering thanks to the AI industry right now). So a prebuilt, ready to go machine, could be the way to go. The best savings are leaning toward the $1,000 mark here, but there are builds both above and below that you might be interested to see.

Acer Nitro 50$799.99$699.99 at NeweggSave $100

Acer Nitro 50 | $799.99 $699.99 at Newegg
Save $100 - OK, so hear me out. This is a bold choice in late 2025 since its GPU is two generations behind, but the main reason I'd still recommend this is because it's got a 14th Gen Intel processor and 16GB of DDR5, meaning you've got the futureproofing going forward to upgrade GPU later if need be. Full disclosure, you can spend about a hundred buck more you can get an equivalent RTX 5060 build, but if your money is really short, this could be an option. Plus, it's cheaper now than it was earlier in the sale.

Specs: Intel Core i5-14400F, Nvidia RTX 3050, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

Buy it if:

✅ You're on a really strict budget
✅ You want a smaller PC
✅ You're okay with an older GPU for this price

Don't buy it if:

❌ You can spend ~$90 more

Acer Nitro 60 with RTX 5060 | $1,199.99 $799.99 at Walmart
Save $400 - This is a big saving, but brings it down to a price that's equivalent to a lot of other RTX 5060 builds. Still, this is solid, with a great entry level card and solid CPU - though you can get twice the RAM in this price range in some other builds. Acer offers solid build quality, which can count for a lot, and this is a great place to start.

Specs: Intel Core i5-14400F, Nvidia RTX 5060, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

Buy it if:

✅ Build quality matters
✅ You're looking to get into PC gaming
✅ RTX 5060 is good enough for you

Don't buy it if:

❌ You need more RAM

Save $180 - We have a new record for the most affordable RTX 5060 gaming PC, and packed with a Ryzen 8000G processor and DDR5 RAM out of the box, it's very hard to fault.

Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 8400F, Nvidia RTX 5060, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

Buy it if:

✅ You want modern specs on a budget
✅ You want a mouse and keyboard
✅ You don't mind a darker case

Don't buy it if:

❌ You want to see if 5060 machines get cheaper this month

Yeyian Yumi | $1,299.99 $819.99 at Newegg
Save $480 - It's slightly more expensive than it was last year thanks to its upgraded components, but this is one of our go-to PC recommendations when it comes to bargain hunting at the most accessible end of the pricing scale. Last year, at it's lowest, you got a saving of $500, so to see the discount on this year's model already reaching that level is a pretty good sign.

Specs: Intel Core i5-14400F, Nvidia RTX 5060, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

Buy it if:

✅ You want modern specs on a budget
✅ You want DDR5 out of the box
✅ 1TB is enough storage for you

Don't buy it if:

❌ You want to play in 4K max settings

Skytech Crystal | $1,029.99 $849.99 at Best Buy
Save $180 - Last week there was only a saving of $130 on this machine, but now, if you want a slightly more stylish (and by stylish I mean transparent) case, this build at Best Buy gets you an Intel Core i5-14400F along with a current-gen AMD GPU for $850.

Specs: Intel Core i5-14400F, AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

Buy it if:

✅ You want a fishbowl case
✅ You don't mind air cooling your CPU
✅ You want an AMD GPU

Don't buy it if:

❌ You'd rather have an AM5 motherboard

Thermaltake LCGS Quartz with RTX 5060 | $1,099.99 $869.99 at Amazon
Save 21% - Builds with these parts have all roughly come down to the same price, but this is a solid combination if you're looking to get a PC with the RTX 5060. The case prioritizes airflow, and with a solid CPU, RAM, and SSD for the price range this is a good deal.

Specs: Intel Core i5-14400F, NVIDIA RTX 5060, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

Buy it if:

✅ You like the white color
✅ RTX 5060 works for you
✅ You want Intel hardware

iBUYPOWER RDY Slate 6 Mesh | $949.99 $849.99 at Walmart
Save $100 - This is one of the best budget PCs you can buy for its quality of build and components, and it's back down in price! That's partly true thanks to how many configurations you'll find at various retailers. This build isn't the most powerful option for this kind of money right now, but it's one of the only AM5 builds I'm seeing discounted to under a grand.

Specs: AMD Ryzen 5 8700F, AMD Radeon RX 6600, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

✅ You need a mouse and keyboard too
✅ You're okay with an older GPU
✅ You want an AMD motherboard and CPU

Specs: Intel Core i5-14400F, Nvidia RTX 5060, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

✅ You want a super-reliable brand
✅ You want an AMD motherboard
✅ 1TB is enough storage for you

MSI Codex R2 | $1,199.99 $899.99 at Newegg
Save $200 - If you can believe it, a further $80 has come off this PC since last week. The Codex R2 is no stranger to this page of Black Friday offers, but this year it joins the pack of sub-$1,000 builds that offer great value if you want to invest a little more in your storage. It's slightly pricier than the other builds of its caliber right now, but that's because you get 2TB to play with.

Specs: Intel Core i5-14400F, Nvidia RTX 5060, 1TB SSD, 32GB of DDR5

✅ You want more RAM
✅ You want more storage
✅ You're still on a tight budget

Lenovo Legion Tower 5i with RTX 5060 Ti | $1,499.99 $1,199.99 at Amazon
Save 20% - A very solid price for an upper end of entry level with great build quality, the only downside here is I'd expect a bit more RAM in this price range usually. The 5060 Ti is a great card, though this cost does put it on the edge of being worth it to pay a bit more to stretch to a 5070. But, if this enough, you can do much worse.

Specs: Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, RTX 5060 Ti, 1TB SSD, 16GB of DDR5

✅ You don't need loads of RAM
✅ You value solid build quality
✅ RTX 5060 Ti is enough for you

Skytech Azure with RX 9070 XT | $2,099.99 $1,949.99 at Newegg
Save $150 - Surprisingly, I've seen an RTX 4070 Ti for slightly cheaper than this, but it didn't have the processing power that'll make this a more capable rig. Newegg is offering Black Friday price protection on this, but I'd be willing to bet that other 9070 XT machines will get cheaper as we get closer to Black Friday.

✅ You want this year's most coveted GPU
✅ You want 2TB of storage

Black Friday gaming PC deals: FAQs

When will Black Friday gaming PC deals start?

Black Friday officially falls on November 28 this year, which means Black Friday gaming PC deals will roughly start appearing the week or so before. Cyber Monday will no doubt have its place, but the best deals, steepest discounts, and most secure stock levels always come from Black Friday. As we've seen in previous years, it might be worth keeping an eye out for Prime Day deals too, since they've thrown some decent discounts our way as well.

Where to get the best Black Friday gaming PC deals?

When it comes to the best Black Friday gaming PC deals, Newegg, Best Buy, Overclockers, and eBuyer are the ones to watch. We have seen that Dell has some deep discounts on their high-end Alienware rigs (namely the Alienware Aurora R13 and R14 in 2022), but the big retailers are always a safe bet as well. Amazon is a given, although we found that their deals weren't as plentiful or powerful as the first four we mentioned. In the UK, Box is another one to watch.

US:

Amazon: Fair prices on boutique built and branded prebuilt gaming PCs
Dell: Regularly has some of the best-value deals on Alienware Aurora builds
Best Buy: Low starting prices on iBuyPower, HP, and Lenovo rigs
Walmart: Competitive prices on all the major brands with the newest GPUs
Newegg: Big savings on ABS Legend and Gladiator gaming PCs

UK:

Amazon: savings on Admi, Vibox, CyberPowerPC, and more
Currys: Few deals but competitive prices on high-end gaming PC builds
Overclockers: Low starting prices for OcUK custom gaming PCs
eBuyer: Decent savings to be made on AlphaSync boutique builds
Very: Savings on PC Specialist, Zoostrom, and MSI gaming rigs
BOX: A high number of discounts on a massive range of gaming PCs

Black Friday gaming PC deals 2023: What to expect

With a new set of GPUs from AMD and Nvidia now on the shelves from 2025, expect this Black Friday to be a big opportunity for finding new-gen configurations for their cheapest prices yet. We've been seeing 50 series gaming PCs discounted throughout the year, but I'd expect the best prices to arrive between October and December, so keep your wallets ready if you're looking to score an upgrade to your gaming setup.

A lot more prebuilt machines are opting for Intel's Arrow Lake processors, but I'd probably steer clear of these since the rumors suggest that Intel's next wave of desktop CPUs won't harness that motherboard socket. Luckily, AMD's 7000 series CPUs are still very good value and offer lots of futureproofing, and Intel's LGA1700 socket may have its unstable products, but it's still worth investing in in a new PC since it's DDR5 compatible.

It's been tricky to find AMD's RX 9070 GPUs inside gaming PCs this year, partly because that GPU has been so popular. But I'd use Black Friday gaming PC deals as an opportunity to find this card since it's almost certain that stock will replenish for the event, and prices will drop.

AMD is going to be the brand to beat in a lot of ways this November. If it isn't a big enough tell, Intel and Nvidia have just signed up to work with one another, since both of them are frequently undercut by AMD's products.

If you're buying at the entry-level end of the scale, maybe expect not to get a liquid cooler, or a particularly fast PC. Nonetheless, you can expect to see plenty of viable gaming PCs for under a grand on both sides of the Atlantic. Whether it's an RTX 5060 PC or something harnessing a 40 series GPU, these options will exist, and it can be worth buying one of these more affordable rigs as something you can upgrade later on.

Don't hold out for RAM, SSD, and HDD deals this Black Friday

(Image credit: Future / Duncan Robertson)

IT's not looking good for Black Friday prices on any PC components that require NAND tech or DRAM parts. It seems like the AI boom is projected to drive up the cost of these components due to supply shortages. Even the chairman of ADATA has recently said that his brand's main competitors now aren't rival storage and memory brands, but cloud service partners". This could lead to prolonged high prices on these components, which could easily bleed over into the pre-built PC market.

We could start to see similar price inflation with RAM as we do with GPUs, so the quicker you buy the memory you need, the better.

Should you wait for Black Friday gaming PC deals?

Given what we’ve seen in recent years, prebuilt gaming PCs see their biggest price reductions around Black Friday. According to the 2023 Adobe holiday shopping report, computers saw up to a 23% reduction across the board in the UK in the middle of November. By a fair margin, the lowest prices in both the US and UK are seen during this period, right when Black Friday always hits.

Unless it’s an absolute emergency, we’d strongly advise you to wait to buy a gaming PC during Black Friday week. This is especially true if you’re looking at the higher end of the specs scale, or at PCs that include RTX 30 series GPUs.

Is it cheaper to build a gaming PC or buy one in 2025?

This can be a tricky question to answer, especially if you shop around Black Friday. This is the time of year when prebuilt systems and components all reach their cheapest points, but pricing for gaming PCs often works so that you pay for the make-up of parts used in a build, plus around $100 or so for builders' fees. If the PC of your dreams gets knocked down by $100 or so in price, you're often negating that extra lump sum and actually getting really good value for money.

That said, things change depending on your desired specs. Especially as you go toward the high-end gear, you'll notice that prices start to inflate. With the volatility of the GPU market being what it is, you might find that the best way to get yourself a new flagship graphics card is to buy a full new PC - at least you might avoid stock shortages and price hikes that way.

A Refract Gaming Jade review image, showing the PC from the front

(Image credit: Future / Fraser Porter)

What I'd advise as someone who has built multiple gaming PCs and reviewed plenty of pre-built systems is to know what you're shopping for. Know what your budget is, what parts should cost, and before you buy, use something like PCPartPicker to ensure you're not paying way more than you should. Even if price differences come into play, you may not be the most confident builder in the world, and the added convenience and safety of having someone who knows what they're doing building the system for you might be more appealing than building yourself.

No matter which route you take, we'd suggest that you make sure you to think about futureprofing. You want something that you'll be able to upgrade down the line, so you need to ensure you're set up with a motherboard that can harness components in the years to come.
