San Diego Comic-Con 2026 is almost over. Sunday always looks a little different at the convention as the main Hall H closes. There are still a few panels knocking around though, so check out our SDCC 2026 schedule below for what's still happening. We've also rounded up some of the big announcements from SDCC as a whole for you to dive into in our recap.

San Diego Comic-Con 2026 dates
When is San Diego Comic-Con?
San Diego Comic-Con kicks off on with a preview night on Wednesday July 22. The main action then gets underway between Thursday July 23 and Sunday July 26. All of the events take place in and around the San Diego Convention Center and the local hotels in the city. GamesRadar+ will be on the ground to keep you updated on all of the goings-on.

Thursday, July 23
Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 was headlined by Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender as well as panels from Marvel's Wolverine, My Hero Academia, Studio Ghilbli, Batman: Caped Crusader season 2, and A24's new sci-fi movie Onslaught. Check out the headlines from day one:

Friday, July 24
Prime Video headlined Friday with two very big shows: Blade Runner 2099 will be showcased alongside The Rings of Power season 3. The other highlight of the day was the Lanterns panel, alongside The Walking Dead: Dead City season 3, X-Men '97, My Adventures with Superman season 3, and Rick and Morty season 9. Here are the headlines from day two:
- Sauron crafts the One Ring in The Rings of Power season 3 trailer as Middle-earth burns
- Lanterns trailer introduces DC villain Sinestro and doesn't try to hide its Justice League connection
- First Blade Runner 2099 trailer flips the iconic sci-fi franchise on its head as 2026 release confirmed
- "He's in his power": The Rings of Power's Gandalf star says his Lord of the Rings character has "arrived" in season 3 and will be the wizard "we all hopefully know and love"
- Simon Pegg joins the cast of The Rings of Power season 3 as an iconic Lord of the Rings character
- Blade Runner 2099 will have "connective tissue" to the Ridley Scott and Denis Villeneuve movies, but will also be a standalone "rebirth"
- Sauron will create some "complications" for Celeborn and Galadriel in The Rings of Power season 3
- Simon Pegg's Balrog will share scenes with Sauron in The Rings of Power season 3
Saturday, July 25
The Marvel Studios panel was the main event on Saturday. The studio headed back to Hall H this year, ahead of the release of Avengers: Doomsday later in 2026. Elsewhere, Prime Video hosted a panel on Carrie and DC movie Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall. Apple TV also hosted a panel showcasing its line-up, including Silo and Widow's Bay. Reacher and Neagley as well as Star Trek also appeared throughout the day too. Here are the headlines from day two:
- Doctor Doom's Avengers: Doomsday costume at San Diego Comic-Con hints at the return of an unannounced Marvel hero
- Callum Turner is a high-stakes hacker in glitchy first trailer for Apple TV sci-fi show Neuromancer
- Ryan Gosling will play Ghost Rider in the MCU in 2028 movie from Deadpool and Wolverine director
- Black Panther 3 arrives in 2028 with a new Black Panther – and it's not a T'Challa recast
- Avengers: Doomsday Comic-Con footage reveals more of Doctor Doom's past and rekindles Marvel's greatest rivalry

Sunday, July 26
There's not a whole lot happening at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, July 26 this year. Hall H, Ballroom 20, the Indigo Ballroom are all closed on this day, but it is technically the last day of the convention so there are a few more panels knocking around. In Room 6BCF at 1pm, there's a Pokémon appreciation panel and in Room 6A, there's a panel dedicated to Star Trek comics too at 1.30pm.

Who will be appearing at San Diego Comic-Con 2026?
The list of confirmed names at SDCC 2026 are yet to be confirmed. However, we're expecting that the major cast and creatives of every panel to be at the event. This includes (but is not limited to) Guillermo Del Toro, Kevin Feige, J.D. Payne, Patrick McKay, Chris Mundy, Zack Cregger, and Mike Flanagan.
The Rings of Power cast, the Blade Runner 2099 cast, the Lanterns cast, and Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender will also appear. We're not sure yet which Marvel actors will appear but we're expecting some huge names, including Robert Downey Jr. Watch this space...
How can I watch San Diego Comic-Con 2026?
As is the case every year, the panels at San Diego Comic-Con 2026 will not be live-streamed. This means you have to be in the room in order to be able to watch them. GamesRadar+ will be on the ground giving you updates from the major panels. We'll have a round-the-clock live blog as well as keeping you updated across social media too.
Is San Diego Comic-Con 2026 sold out?
Given that the only way you can watch panels is at the event, you might be wondering if it's possible to go to San Diego Comic-Con 2026. Unfortunately, the convention is sold out. Tickets go on sale in the fall of the previous year. So if you're hoping to go in 2027, make sure you check in late 2026. Don't fret though. GamesRadar+ is at the event so we'll keep you updated throughout.
