Riot's customers love when the developer celebrates holidays by releasing themed content, and it's glad to oblige with virtual threads for their digital characters. But with Christmas in the rear-view mirror and Valentine's Day over a month away, Riot took things a step further and decided to go multicultural with The Lunar Revel. To celebrate this festivity, based on the Chinese New Year, Riot has released new outfits for four popular characters that you can fork over your hard-earned money for, if you're so inclined.
"As League of Legends continues to grow around the world, we’ll be taking more cultural cues in the festivities we celebrate," Riot posted on its website. "We’re also kicking off a world tour that will feature the many cultures that comprise the League of Legends community."
Since this year is the "Year of the Dragon," a number of champions have been given some new dragon-themed clothing to fight in. There's Dragonblade Talon, Guqin Sona, Jade Dragon Wukong, and Dragon Fist Lee Sin, all of which have some sort of dragon-inspired pattern or design. Surprisingly, the actual half-dragon champion that was released a few months back didn't get any new dragon outfits, though we'll assume it's because Riot couldn't think of any way to make a dragon look more dragon-y.
