Stuck in a Gem 

Rubrio will be found slumming in, well, the slums.

You’ll need to avoid all these cats in order to get the Starlit Spice to this boy.

Who you get it from: Look for the secluded area next to the narrow path east of South Station. There you’ll find Gem, a talking cat.

When you can obtain the quest: Any time after completing Main Quest 1-2, between 3PM and 3AM.

Rewards for completion: 1600 gil, Black Cat Ears x1, Max HP +80, Magic +12

Instructions for completion: After talking to Gem, head to the Wall of Joy area of the Warren. Look for a crouched man in a straw hat. His name is Rubrio and he needs two Niblet Hairballs to create Starlit Spice. Niblets are very common creatures in this game, so you should have plenty to give. When you have the Starlit Spice, go to the East Marketplace and look for a boy wearing cat ears. You’ll know it’s him by the group of cats crowding around him. Now here’s the challenge: You need to give him the Starlit Spice without making contact with any of the cats, or else you’ll lose the Starlit Spice and you will have to revisit Rubrio for another batch. If you sprint and jump your way to the young boy, you should be able to give him the Starlit Spice and complete the quest.
