Forest Fertilizer is easy to spot by the standing shovels
You’ll finish the quest with a green thumb at Sarala’s farm
Article continues belowWho you get it from: Sarala, a redhead woman in glasses, standing in a small farming plot in Canopus Farms.
When you can obtain the quest: Between 7AM and 10PM, after the portion of the ‘Saving an Angel’ side quest when you feed Sarala’s Gysahl Greens to the Chocobo.
Rewards for completion: 800 gil, Girlish Glasses x1, Max HP +80, Strength +4, Magic +8
Instructions for completion: Sarala’s father wandered off in Jagd Woods and she wants you to find him. Upon entering Jagd Woods, stay on the path leading to Jagd Village and speak to every stranger along the way. You’ll eventually come across a man in purple glasses.
He’ll ask you to collect Forest Fertilizer, which is easily marked in the forest by standing shovels. You can find two in the enclosed forest to the immediate southeast and one on the way to Jagd Village. You can find more fertilizer at the three-way intersection near the forest entrance as well as another batch along the west path of that intersection.
Report back to the man, then return to Sarala. The resulting farm work will complete the quest. We encourage you to continue farming with the additional plots of land that Sarala’s given you, as it will yield more Gysahl Greens needed for other quests.
