Peace and Quiet, Kupo
This is one of the more straightforward quests. Just be sure to have your fire abilities handy
Who you get it from: The Moogles in their village.
When you can obtain the quest: Between 7PM and 7AM.
Rewards for completion: 555 gil, Mog Figurine x1, Max HP +60, Strength +7, Magic +7, Moogle Fragment x1, Recovery Item Capacity +1
Instructions for completion: The quest triggers after your first conversation with the Moogles. You simply have to defeat three sets of Dryads, so be sure to have at least one fire ability in your arsenal. Defeat the Dryads and look for Mog. Chase him and when you catch him, the quest will be complete.
There are additional benefits to pursuing this quest early. The Moogle Fragment reward will be needed to complete Main Quest 5-4 and this side quest also awards you with another coveted recovery item slot.
You can also get a headstart on a number of other objectives while you’re in the village: 1) If you have a Vegetable Seed, Mogella can help you plant it in the village. It will yield Sylkis Greens, which is needed for one of the Canvas of Prayers quests. 2) By talking to Moggel, you can start on the ‘Where Are You, Moogle?” side quest. 3) You can find Crimm Mushroom at the south east point of Moogle Village, which you’ll need for the ‘A Final Cure’ side quest.
