The FC 26 release date was Friday, January 16, following a fortnight of fervent fan voting. Initially one men’s and one women’s team were named, with three players boosted to an incredible new 97 overall rating: Ousmane Dembele (ST, Paris SG), Aitana Bonmati (CM, Barcelona), and Alessia Russo (ST, Arsenal). Honourable Mentions cards such as Marc Cucurella are inbound, too – more on him below.

This isn’t the only promo happening right now: the FC 26 FC Pro Live Tracker, featuring the likes of Darwin Nunez and Alejandro Garnacho, is also still going strong.

As with previous years, the FC 26 TOTY release schedule is split into four stages. First up we get attackers; next are midfielders; after that it’s defenders and goalkeepers, such as Gigi Donnarumma; and then, finally, all cards are catapulted into packs for a big week-long finale. Oh, and tradition means we’re getting 12th Man and 12th Woman cards to tie in with that second week, too.

  • TOTY Attackers: Friday, January 16
  • TOTY Midfielders: Sunday, January 18
  • TOTY Defenders: Tuesday, January 20
  • TOTY Full Release: Thursday, January 22
  • TOTY 12th Man & 12th Woman Release: Friday, January 23
