You'll reportedly have to watch Avatar: Fire and Ash four times to see every trailer for Avengers: Doomsday
More than one Doomsday trailer might be coming
Anticipation is high for the heavily rumored trailer for Avengers: Doomsday – but, as it turns out, it might be a case of trailers, plural.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, four different trailers for Avengers: Doomsday are on the way, and each will be attached to Avatar: Fire and Ash. Each trailer will play for a week, before being replaced by the next. The publication says this is "aimed at getting diehards to see Avatar: Fire and Ash multiple times."
Now, the Avatar movies famously make a lot of money, so it would seem a lot of people are going to be headed to theaters to watch the film over and over again these next few weeks anyway (the film arrives on December 19).
It sounds like these Doomsday trailers would be theatrical exclusives, too, so the only way to see them would be to head out to the theater.
Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to be absolutely huge for Marvel, with a stacked cast including the likes of Anthony Mackie's Captain America and Chris Hemsworth's Thor, the Fox-era X-Men, the Thunderbolts*, and the Fantastic Four. And, of course, Robert Downey Jr. will play Doctor Doom.
Fire and Ash, meanwhile, returns us to Pandora for the next installment in James Cameron's sci-fi epic, this time introducing a new type of sinister Na'vi who are obsessed with fire.
Avengers: Doomsday lands in theaters on December 18. While you wait, check out our guide to all the upcoming Marvel movies and shows for everything else that's on the way.
