The Fortnite quests have been completely reset for the start of the new season, but we've already hit the ground running with a wide selection of categories to keep you busy. The Kickstart assignments are back to get you familiar with the fresh locations and mechanics, along with Island Stories to introduce the current lore and a return of Milestones quests to the Battle Royale. There are also new Weekly quests in Fortnite OG, giving another reason to revisit the retro mode.

With such a variety of tasks available now it can be difficult to keep on top of everything, so don't forget that you can track up to 25 quests by tagging them through the menu. In addition to the tasks linked to the main battle royale, there are certain quests that are exclusive to Fortnite OG and Fortnite Reload, so check out all of the modes to maximize the XP available.

As always, there's plenty more going on outside of the battle royale as well, so make sure you check out the separate experiences of Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and Fortnite Festival to see what else is available. Don't overlook these assignments, as they provide a significant amount of additional XP during Fortnite Season 3 of Chapter 6 to speed up progress through the Battle Pass.

The Week 0 quests involve jumping 10 meters or more into the air with your new superpowers, as well as travelling around the island to visit fresh locations Utopia City, Supernova Academy, and Demon's Domain. You'll need to keep an eye out for Fortnite new weapons and items to eliminate three players tracked with the Tracking Visor and eliminate two players with Killswitch Revolvers in a single match, and if you spot those with higher rarities you can also work on dealing 250 damage to opponents with Epic or better weapons.

For the Week 1 quests you'll need to throw a vehicle using Bass Boost, so trigger it when you're stood next to a car for maximum effect, and watch out for Overlord Spires or Scout Spires on your travels as you need to destroy five of them. Recruiting a character in two different matches is required, and the price for this has increased so get saving your gold bars. Heading to Supernova Academy is a great place to collect two different pieces of Supernova Gear in a single match, and you may also find Unstable Exotic weapons there to deal 500 damage to opponents with.

There are certain Fortnite quests that will get ticked off through natural gameplay and don't require attention, but we're here to help with the ones that need specific knowledge or actions to clear. Completing quests is a lot easier these days now we no longer rely on Fortnite characters to distribute them, so if you want to know what you need to do for that sweet XP boost, then check out the quests section of the main menu – or the pause menu – and you'll find them all clearly laid out, with the option to track your progress on specific challenges. Keep completing quests and you'll earn massive amounts of XP across the entire Fortnite season so you can unlock fresh rewards – and who doesn't want that? Here's everything we know about the latest Fortnite quests.
