First, the legal rules:

http://www.gamesradar.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=156

Gotta be in the US! Sorry, them's the rules people made up that we have to follow.

Real rules:

Post in here your most embarrassing/funniest/shameful videogame t-shirt story, like going to buy MGSIV while wearing an MGS shirt and not realizing it, somebody in public made fun of it, whatever the story is. The saddest/most entertaining stories get one of these five shirts and PLEASE STATE WHICH ONE YOU WANT OH MY GOD.

M. Bison SFIV

Super-cool Dhalsim Yoga Studios shirt

Stealthy Naruto Shippuden shirts. Three available!

They're all XL, and yes, I did try to find other sizes.

Post away, and my example story will be at the end of TalkRadar 49, posting tomorrow!

I was craving some Taco John's (IDK, I guess I wanted to die on the inside), But all my normal cloths were dirty. So I just grabbed a random video game shirt I had laying around from work and headed to the mall. Now the mall that has the Taco John's in it is often a spot for soliciting. And when I say soliciting, I mean lots of religious nuts handing out fliers for there church.

And since it was Saturday, the mall was full of these morons. I did my best avoid most of them, and got into the Line for some grease covered grease. After a while I got approached by an old white women, who was handing out fliers for her church.

"Are you man of god?" she asked

"What?, no, no I'm not"

"Well at the Christian Church, you'll never be 'Alone in the dark' Again"

I looked down and realized..... I was wearing my "Alone in the Dark" shirt........Ughhh..

PS: I'd like the M.Bison shirt if I actually win this thing.

A year or so ago, I was in Chicago with my family to see my brother at his Naval training base, and we went to Gurnee Mills. We ended up eating in the Rainforest Cafe there, and as we were waiting for our food and whatnot, I wandered about the gift shop. I also just happened to be wearing e LoZ Link shirt. Well, as I was going back and forth betwixt the gift shop and the seating area, I ran strait into an employee (the rainforest atmosphere apparently calls for extremely poor lighting). It was a man who, in retrospect, reminds me immensely of Dan Amrich, just because he was one of those elusive older gamers. After the collision, there was a moment of awkward before he noticed my shirt, which, upon seeing, exclaimed, "I like that shirt. No, I LOVE that shirt!" For the next few minutes we stood there talking about Zelda, and were beginning to drift elsewhere when a restaurant authority showed up looking around, and when he saw this guy, he ran over and says, "[Guy's name]! What the hell are you doing!? We needed you at table 5 ten minutes ago!" and continued in a similar fashion for another minute or so. Once he left, this guy turns slowly to me, and expecting him to be pissed and leave, CONTINUES TO TALK TO ME. Well, I was happy for the stimulating conversation, as our food wasn't there yet and my family is boring as hell. But I couldn't help bring up how he should be getting back to work, but he just shrugged it off and kept going. So about 3 minutes after the Bossman left, he comes back, ******* FURIOUS. He starts chewing the guy out in that "We can't alert the customers but understand that I'm really, really ******* furious" kind of subdued tone, right in the middle of the restaurant, and when he finishes, he looks around and EVERYONE in that area is watching us. At this point I GTFO'd, and stealthily made my way into the gift shop, pretending to think the big stupid talking rubber tree is interesting. I saw the guy later when I was eating, and he looked thoroughly chastened. On the way out I asked him if I had gotten him in trouble, but he laughed and told me it was no problem, which I was really glad for, because it looked like he actually might get fired for a few minutes.
Photobucket
Exhibit A: The shirt that nearly cost a man his job.

Preferance: Naruto, followed by Bison. If all that's left is the Dhalsim one, just give it to someone else. Anyone who didn't get it would think I actually like yoga.

On a week long stay at my cousin's house I brought nothing but video game t-shirts and one Spider-Man t-shirt. (I loved that shirt too, but the second it started showing any holes in the cloth my mom threw it out.) Well, my younger cousin was really cool. He loved video games and everything. So imagine my surprise when I came to stay at his house and out of nowhere he became a total jock. Not just that, be he sold his consoles! (Playstation and Nintendo 64) earlier that year. I didn't get to always see my cousin so when I went to meet him it was a big deal. But over the year he just became a total jock douche. It was straight out of an 80's teen comedy. He just dissed me the entire time and made me feel like a loser. And I had to go through this for an entire week. He would make fun of me in front of his other friends and I had nothing to do but watch tv and hear him lift weights in his garage (Or car hole). Everyday he would mock me on the t-shirt I wore and finally one day I started to shed some tears, "Dude, are you crying? That's totally gay!" I rarely even see him anymore. Jock douche...

by the by I prefer the M.Bison shirt, but whatever I may get sounds good.

I was at a Walmart with my family because my brother needed a suit for his high school graduation or something, and I convinced my parents to buy me a Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess t-shirt. It was the first vidyagames shirt I'd ever had, and I was reel proud. For a very short time though, because when we were eating in a Burger King, someone broke into our van and stole my brother's brand new suit, my precious t-shirt, and a few DVDs that my dad had bought at Walmart. Also, my mom's wallet.

That sucked ass.

Also, I am Canadian.

omfg... again?
XL = everyone in the office took the normal sized game shirts and Goodwill refused these shirts.

Damn it, every shirt contest I want to enter is for nightgowns, not shirts. The only situation I see myself getting use out of an XL shirt is by lending it out to my ladyfriends to sleep in when I have adult slumber parties. Which, I have to admit, making a girl where a video game tee to bed would get me kind of hot and bothered.

I have shirt stories, no video game shirt stories though. :( I don't like to advertise anything, I never have, I used to wear only plain generic clothing without labels and I'd take seam rippers to tear off labels when I was a kid. Or with shoes like converse, I'd get them and rub out the converse rubber label on the cement as soon as I got the shoes.
Now I only wear tees that don't advertise anything and just have a design or that make fun of pop culture. I am a hipster and live in the hipster breeding grounds (eastside LA, Silverlake/Echo Park) of So Cal so I have to carefully disguise my nerdiness lest I be found out and made into a social pariah.

During my years in high school (back when i was into heroin) i used to have this pair of super mario bros boxers. One day after a swim meet (i was on the swim team) i went to change, and i changed into those boxers.

As i mentioned in the beginning of the story, these were darker times for me, and i returned to my broken home, where my mother would scream incessantly at me for ABSOLUTELY NO REASON, and i did my usual ordeal, of grinding heroin into my teeth. Anyway i compulsively threw up afterward, and blacked out.

I woke up the next day 2 hours late for school, and I just immediately grabbed my bag and walked out the door. At this point i hadn't remembered to change, so i just went wearing the same clothes i had the day before.

In the hallways after my 5th period class, a group of guys, turned to me and began commenting that i hadn't changed, they made some very vulgar comments, and then proceeded to pin me against a random locker, and pulled down my pants.

This is still morning mind you, so i still had a hard on. Much to my surprise the first thing the guys commented on was my SUPER MARIO BROS boxers. I was kind of relieved, until they began beating me up, at which point, the school security guard was called in, to stop them.

After the security guard had broken up the skirmish, he picked up my bag and began to hand it to me, but he stopped, and i soon realized that i had left my stash in my bag, at which point i was sent to a federally funded rehabilitation center for the remainder of my high school education.

So you could say that My mario boxers, sort of led to me being caught with drugs, and sent away.

Fortunately i discovered jesus while i was there, and now i can wake up drug free. You know this place really needs more religion, how about we start a religion sticky, except we keep out all of those stinky Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Buddhist, Atheist, Agnostics, Baptist, Roman Catholics, Normal Catholics, Slightly abnormal Catholics, Pagans.

Essentially we'll keep out all of the people that god hates.

; )

By the way.. I'd like either the M. Bison shirt, or the Dhalsim shirt.

KK, so I decided to give it a read...No offense guy, but I really don't believe it...
If it's legit, then that sucks but if it is made up, then kudos sir, you are a great fictional writer...

As for the religious bs, this is the interwebs, there is no room for Jesus and his super friends...Sorry...

So I live in NYC, Queens in particular. I was 15 at the time so still pretty naive about the world. Anyway, I was visiting a friend from school who lives in a really really shitty part of The Bronx. Because it was such a bad area whenever I would visit I would usually leave when it was still light out, since I had to take the subway home. That day, we were hanging out when we both pretty much passed out from heavy drinking. When I woke up, it was 1am and went nuts because I shouldve been home hours ago (since im 27 now at this time there were no cell phones) and my parents were probably going ballistic. So I decided that even with the area I was in, it would probably be better to go home now than to sleep over and leave early tomorrow

So I left his house(wearing a Super Mario T-shirt) and started on the 5 block walk ot the subway station. About two blocks in, I saw this group of 3 black guys walking towards me (who looked about 20-23 yrs old) on my side of the sidewalk, so I decided to cross the street, being the scared white person I am. Unfortunately for me, when I did this they crossed the street too. So I thought "shit im about to get in some serious trouble" and prepared for the worse. Much to my surprise, when they got to me the biggest guy there simply said, "Yo whered you get that shirt, that shit is tight". And after I told him he said thanks and we went our seperate ways....

1st choice- Naruto shirt
2nd-M.Bison
3rd-Dhalsim
