Now that Summer's winding down and cozy building season is nearly upon us, the best Lego deals are coming into their own. That's why the GamesRadar+ team and I have gone on a treasure hunt to find the most tempting offers in both the US and UK right now, with offers that've been hand-picked by editors.

In terms of this week's Lego deals, an easy standout is the for-adults Young Simba display kit; it's dropped from $130 to $91.70 at Amazon, a $38 price cut in all. This is matched by the $12 saving on the Dried Flowers Centerpiece that gets us ready for Fall, now $37.49 at Amazon. As for the UK, the excellent Great Deku Tree kit is £206.02 at Amazon instead of the usual £250.

And those are just the beginning. We've used all of our many years covering bargains to bring you the most tempting Lego deals this week from all corners of the internet, and have sprinkled a garnish of advice along the top if you'd like some extra pointers. With those recommendations, you'll be able to get the best Lego sets for less in no time.

How we find Lego deals

Lego Gringotts Bank set and the Lego UCS set, divided by a gray line

There's no shortage of discounts out there, so how do you know we're actually bringing you the best Lego deals? It's a good question. The GamesRadar+ and I take bargain-hunting seriously, and we'll go out of our way to make sure you're only being served the most tempting reductions.

Here's a breakdown of how the process works:

🛒 We personally browse trusted retailers
Although we'll be tipped off occasionally by manufacturers, PR companies, or retailers themselves, the team and I usually find deals because we've gone out and browsed them ourselves. Basically, we've put the legwork in so you don't have to.

💲 We always use price-matching software
Savings are one thing, but good deals are quite another. To ensure something is actually a worthwhile discount or not, we'll put it through comparison software such as CamelCamelCamel. This tells us the item's average price, its lowest ever cost, and when it traditionally gets a saving.

🏪 We compare with rival retailers
We don't call it a day after finding a good Lego deal; instead, we'll head straight to rival retailers in an attempt to find a better offer. You'll see our working in the 'price match' section of each deal block.

Lego deals FAQ

How do I know if a Lego deal is good or not?

There are plenty of Lego deals each and every week, but the trick is judging whether the offer is worth your time or not. For that, I keep an eye on price-matching sites to determine a product's average cost and whether it's been cheaper in the past (and how often it's dropped in price). That way I can identify and bring you the very best discounts and Lego sales.

Want to try it out yourself? I use sites like CamelCamelCamel, and the process is easy. Simply paste a Lego deal's URL into the search bar to find out the product's biggest discount, average cost, and highest price over a set period of time. You can then determine whether the Lego deal is actually good or not.

Where will I find the best Lego deals?

If you're searching for the very best Lego deals, it's hard to beat Amazon. This online goliath has the greatest range and usually offers discounts on a daily basis. Simply put, it's the most reliable option.

However, that doesn't mean you should discount the likes of Best Buy or, if you're in the UK, Very. They also provide great price cuts to match Amazon's, and that'll come in handy if you're part of a rewards program like Walmart Plus.

Here are my top picks for Lego sales based on region.

USA
- Amazon: Best for range and depth
- Walmart: Reliable for good deals
- Best Buy: Provides regular sales
- Lego: Exclusives available here

UK
- Amazon: Most reliable for variety
- Lego: Exclusives available here
- John Lewis: Eclectic but good deals
- Very: Surprisingly good discounts available
- Argos: Good for the biggest lines

Does Lego ever go on sale?

Lego is usually on sale somewhere. In fact, Lego deals are common no matter the time of year; you'll find a handful of good discounts each week if you know where to look.

Unsure of how to start your bargain hunt? I'd always recommend heading over to Amazon. While that might seem like a cop-out thanks to it being one of the most popular online stores, the retail giant consistently puts out respectable Lego sales come rain or shine.

Should you wait until the Black Friday or Prime Day Lego sales?

Although there are some excellent Black Friday and Prime Day Lego sales, they don't hold a monopoly on good discounts. We see impressive reductions all year 'round, so it's always worth keeping an eye out just in case.

The one exception would be premium collector sets. While they do drop in cost from time to time, they've surprised me in the past with vast price cuts online or at supermarkets during the November Black Friday Lego deals, or even the earlier Prime Day Lego deals. The Millennium Falcon is a prime example; in the UK, Aldi clipped a hefty 60% off the kit's price for 2022. Meanwhile, Lego Rivendell hit its lowest price in the UK as a result of Black Friday 2023 and Prime Day 2024.
