Get your first look at Wonder Woman and her fellow Amazons

Wonder Woman hasn't always worn her red and blue corset-and-skirt combo, you know. Before she was Diana Prince, she was Princess Diana, an Amazon warrior. Thanks to a new image from Warner Bros., we have our first look at the raven-haired heroine in her role as guardian of the island of Themyscira, and she's not alone. Enjoy the picture up top, or a non-cropped version below:

A sneak peek at the 2017 film that aired on the CW in January showed Diana already clad in her famous armor as she fought alongside Chris Pine and other soldiers in the first World War. Likewise, she donned the gladiatorial garb for her big-screen debut in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. But going by this image, we'll get a good look at what life was like before Diana decided to rejoin the world of men when Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 23, 2017.

Directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Lucy Davis, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Lisa Loven Kongsli, Danny Huston, David Thewlis, and Saïd Taghmaoui, Wonder Woman will open in cinemas on June 23, 2017.
