Where to find Palworld Pure Quartz and Hexolite Quartz
Palworld Pure Quartz is a relatively rare ore and is different to another quartz, Hexolite Quartz, so here's where to mine for both
Pure Quartz is one of two types of Palworld quartz, along with Hexolite Quartz. Both have different uses and are mined in different biomes, so to help you avoid confusion, I've got the locations of both, and how to farm them right here.
Both types of quartz are incredibly valuable, owing to their inclusion some pretty essential high-level blueprints, such as Hexolite armor and the all-important Circuit Board. So, if you're having trouble locating either, here's everything you need to know.
How to get Palworld Pure Quartz
Pure Quartz is found in the Astra Mountains in Palworld, which is a challenging area to navigate due to the extreme cold. Fortunately, there are a few Pure Quartz deposits in the grassy areas along the eastern coast, which aren't as cold, making for easier mining.
As always with any ores, you could also be sure to have a mining Pal in your party, such as Tombat, who will aid will collecting the mineral faster.
Once you've found some, Pure Quartz is used for a few recipes, but the most important is the Circuit Board, which itself is then used in electrical blueprints like advanced workbenches and assembly lines.
You can farm Palworld Pure Quartz at your base once you reach Technology Level 52 and unlock the Pure Quartz Quarry.
How to get Palworld Hexolite Quartz
Palworld Hexolite Quartz is found on Feybreak Island, and this pretty mineral can be used for crafting some pretty decent armor, but only once you reach Technology Level 59. The good news is that there's also a Hexolite Quartz Mine available on the Ancient Technology tree at Level 63, so you can farm plenty of the resource from the safety of your own home - or, rather, get Pals to do it for you.

After studying Music and Lifestyle journalism and writing a column for a stylish lifestyle magazine in her hometown of Brighton, Danielle finally found her feet writing about videogames for WePC in 2021. She then honed her guides writing skills at PCGamesN between 2022 and 2026, when she took those skills to GamesRadar as a Guides Writer. Danielle's guides are a safe space - she definitely got stuck before you did, which is why she's perfect for the job. When she's not replaying the Silent Hill games or a more up-to-date single-player horror game, you'll find her fighting for her life in Dead by Daylight, tending to a garden in Stardew Valley, or doing both in Minecraft.
